I dont use meter throwing. the pumps are for infielders, particularly the pitcher fielding a ground ball. the slow down in animations are more for outfielders. It literally gives a guy 5 to 6 extra steps when there should be no extra steps gained.my outfielder didnt do the ground ball pump, but outfielders dont charge a ball then slow to a trot halfway to it so the guy running can make it into the base when he should have been out by a mile. the fielding animations are pretty crappy and need to be worked on extensively.
