    Custom Conference Question

With the changing landscape of college athletics I like the conference customization BUT

Do conference do any moving and shifting without me pushing the buttons?

I liked having my team start from the MAC/Sun Belt and moving up, and it just wouldn't be the same if I had to invite myself.

I think it's all user-initiated now, no more conference invites. Personally I'm okay with that since the CPU only invited user-controlled teams and the invites were random.

Yeah it would. In fact, it would be much better. We have full control over switches and that's how it should be. Why on earth would you want to rely on the CPU to make the right invite?
It's on me. I shook his hand too hard. It was a hard ... kind of a slap-shake.

"What? You can't challenge a scoring play?''

I would imagine invites are gone since we can do the shifting at the end of each season. Which is perfectly ok with me. I loved moving teams. I didnt love having to become that team and hope for a mirracle to get where I wanted them... Ive been wanting to be able to change the conferences myself for the longest time. Im stoked Ill be able to do that this year. No more one team dominating a conference every year. Time for them to move up to the big boys..

I agree with you and I hope they didn't take it out.

Its just not the same moving you own team to a new conference compared to having to be invited.

Just a preference. It gives you a sense of achievement.

There's a thread on this already.

"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace
