Love madden but only thing really different is grass and jersey color. The uniforms on the players still don't look real the socks pants and so on. And for this so called run style Come on man madden use to have this in the old madden as barber ran his style!! The same way they use real pics to make the face models the should do the same with the players in there uniforms sorry but the player models with there uniforms don't look real in all maddens all madden games what making pads smaller makes it look real?

But like most, I'm waiting to see gameplay videos before I make my final decision. Pictures alone always look great. Even past Maddens looked great in stillshots, lol.

Look at a real pic of dez Bryant or and player side bye side then look at this it's not even close! Wy are every player pants the same length? All players jersey is cut different not just sleeve and sleeveless. Some players wear loose sleeves tight sleeves tight jersey loose jersey. Socks don't look rite! I'm not saying they should take real photos of every player in there uniform it's so many players in football but if the took maybe 3 to for players on each team or maybe just the star players of eatch team that could give them a start kinda so the players would be accurate from head to toe gloves socks pants tatts and so on same way the model the face pics. Like gt5 standard and premium cars standard model players and premium model players and build on it every year. Cus I know dev work hard but to truth is the players look nothing like there real in uniforms self the faces are great but player models are bad!

I think me using the term "run style" in an earlier post, might of been a poor choice of words. I was referring more to run rhythm or run timing differential described in a Madden round table discussion. I know there are various run styles added back in this year too but the CD guys were talking about how some players pursue more aggressive than others and defenders actions no longer appear synchronized together but look naturally like multiple individuals.

Anyone who has not yet listen to the Madden round table, that's interested in this, should check it out. I am not going to bother posting the link because, a simple Google or OS search, is all that is needed.

That said, I can be as critical as anybody about Madden but I want to be fair so I try to stay informed about the released info. I have noticed on internet forums, how quite a few people ignore or don't bother checking for info before they post whatever and I don't understand that. I think the whole point of internet forums, like this OS Madden forum, is to have a centralized hub, for maximum info. I don't get coming to the hub, not bothering to attempt to access available info and then making random post with little to no knowledge of the context of whats being discussed.

I am not attacking Burg, I am just venting about how odd this seems when I notice it.

Also, to people mentioning the refs "deep" foot plant, there have been various mentions of "ice skating" being greatly improved with noticeable foot planting and "flying" turf. If the tall 3D grass helps visually improve the representation of player foot planting in Madden 12, I am all for it.

EDIT*- After going back and reading the EA "New collision system" blog, "run styles" is the correct term. I think what Burg is referring to that was in last-gen Madden is the "carry styles". According to the blog, Madden 12 has both, so I guess the run styles are a new feature along with individual Player traits/tendencies for more natural player performance.

Looks like they still haven't fixed players proportions. The Redskin guy has enormous arms and I'm sure players like Jay Ratliff will have puny WR arms again.
