    D-League Gems. Found Any?

With the "spark off the bench" thread as inspiration have any of you in your Associations found a diamond in the rough in your D-Leagues?

I have mentioned this kid many times in my Association recaps but Chris Jennings SG/SF a swingman has made a splash at the NBA level for me. He is a legit scorer with a sweet jump shot and nose for rebounds. A great swingman off the bench for my Heat Chise.

    How about you?

Paul Sherman (SF): He runs the floor really well and is a high flyer, always throws down some crazy dunks

I have never played a D-League game in my life, nor scouted in my d-league team for players. I might have to try soon!

I'm in the same boat, but considering some of the needs I need to fill out after I took a stick of dynamite to my team after my first association season to fit the style of ball I want to play with John Wall as my centerpiece, this thread has made me want to comb through some D-League prospects. In dire need of depth at the PF and PG position.

EDIT: I'll throw up any interesting prospects I find when I do my comb over.

Thank you for this, I was looking for a great PG and SG in my old association a while ago. This is gonna help me soon.

Edit: Don't know if this is helpful but I found a blocking machine but he's bad at everything else, he's a 7'4" I think Center Drew Cook, I got him for my bench. In my other associations.

I've called him up a couple times to fill in during injuries. What sucks though is during the off-season he felt he deserved a contract worth over $1m. I wanted to sign him but had no cap room and didn't want to waste my exception on such a low rated player and now I believe he's floating around the FA list somewhere.

Yep, Jake Robinson is my guy as well. He's got a quick release and is great off the bench. When he is on he can light it up. But when he's off you might as well put him back on the bench.

He has that horrible consistency rating of 25. Yeah he can hit, but he cannot shoot himself out of a slump, nor stay hot for very long.

He gets a 10-day contract and very little minutes when I have him around.

                  Aside: D-Leaguers are scrubs

After reading this I instantly went and signed him to my 2011-2012 Heat. His first 3 was an air ball, but after that he was 3-4 in his 14 mins. He's perfect to slide in off the bench and counter act some good 3 point shooting teams.

                      Good looks.

Jake Robinson has a very high 3pt rating.

I've got PF Kenny Adams. Not a traditional power forward but the dude is 6'10 and can shoot pretty well from mid-range and 3pt. Is nice to use for a few pick-n-pops when I need to get a run going

                            Oi bruffa,

You know you can split your mid level exception up? So you could give jake a million and still have 4.76 to play around with

Yeah Drew Cook has been the best d-leaguer ive found so far. In one of my dynastys i took into like 2016-17 he was at like 67 overall and was a nice addition coming off the bench and yes he is 7'4 and can block just about anything, but dont expect much else.
