Your meter has the same problems as the current one. Who cares if you can't see it? I don't see any free throw meter in 2K11, but I still manage to make free throws pretty easily. The same thing would happen here. Your problem is, you DO need a meter. It is one thing if you are always kicking an extra point from the middle of the field on the 2 yard line. It's another if you are all over the field, different distances, etc... You would have to show a meter if you want variation. Otherwise you essentially have what you have now, but you just want to hide it. And the problem with the current one is that it is too easy.
