    Play Calling in NCAA 12

Is anyone else upset at they playcall screen in NCAA 12 is the same. I liked NCAA 11 but the play call screen is horrible. They should make it like madden. It takes to much time to scroll through the plays. Especially when ppl run a hurry up offense.

what are you talking about ?

They changed play calling screen this year. Instead of just one button to call a play, now you have 3 buttons.

I have no problem with it... I know where pretty much everything is, especially on the defensive side of the ball.

        Quote for emphasis.

Uh this should be closed. Skillz nailed it, they changed the screen.

I don't mind it, much better than last year.

The only thing I think they need to change is the green grassy background. Its distracting to me and doesn't mix well with the route colors.

I agree that the new playcalling screen in 2011 is a bit laggy. If they could somehow fix the lag it would be fine. I find it tough to pick my plays really quick sometimes knowing that a screen watcher could have a 33.3333333% chance of knowing my play if I don't pick it fast enough. I play alot of games with friends at home as well as online. At home is when I have the problem. Hmmmmmmm.

I don't play against anyone in the same room as me, but isn't there a bluff button so that you can select your play, but keep scrolling through so that they don't know on which screen you actually chose a play?

i liked ncaa 10 play-call screen better...you had 4 plays on the screen and you could hit the button for any of those 4 plays and the player sitting next to you wouldn't know which play you called

Yea there's a bluff button. But that doesn't fix the lag. They will still see your three possible plays, because you have to wait for it to load the bluff before you hit the play you want or you end up picking the wrong play. It's stupid.. try it out for yourself.

Hopefully they fixed it in 2012
