Ewing’s Epilogue

“What a team. They were stacked 6 deep in the post. So difficult to break down. I shot 5-10 and i was very pleased with that. First they had Songaila and Etan Thomas. Then they threw Joe Smith and Jamaal Magloire at us. And to top it all off, Shavlik Randolph and Francisco Elson strolled on for a few minutes. They were relentless on defense and we struggled big time. ”

Marcus Landry got some burn too, grabbing 4 boards. We tried to fight fire with fire in the post, but we were mismatched against so many 7 footers. You cant teach height. Or so the saying goes. Aside from that Patrick Mills showed he can run a team, and score in bucket loads. He had 23 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Then Jawad Williams chipped in with 11 points. But almost all their baskets were made by the post players."
