I Wish They Put This Next Year (Update Player Portraits)

In next years game, I hope they put the ability to customize player portraits, or atleast they update it when trades happen, I hate seeing players in new ball clubs wearing old uniforms, here is an example of what I want.

Lets Say I Trade Ubaldo Jimenez From The Colorado Rockies


To the New York Yankees, I would like them to update the picture



(Note: I made the picture myself, xD Im a good photoshopper)

Wouldnt This be a cool feature? I for sure know I would want this in the game.

(If you guys want me to make fakes for you guys like I did here, you can pm me and I will make it xD, I love doing these) I will post more examples later.

Another Example Would Be:

Lets Say BJ Upton



He gets traded to the Atlanta Braves



It would show that picture, instead of him with the Rays in a Atlanta Braves Roster


Jose Reyes:



Jose Reyes With Twins

I have to admit...this would be one of my favorite features of all time.

It provides so much more immersion and realism. I'd imagine they would need to use their graphic player portraits, but that'd still be awesome.

Well first I take a picture of the person I want to edit, then I find a player with the team that I want to change that player to and modify it.

Basically if I want a Jose Reyes with the Twins, I take the picture of Jose Reyes, then I find a picture of somebody with the twins that is identically close to Jose Reyes (Ex: Skin Color, Jersey must be in the same position)

Then I just take a background editor and remove the face of the person from the other team, and put Jose Reyes' face on it, and remove his jersey from the one with the Mets.

I know it sounds hard to do, but its very simple for me, I used to do these with MLB 2k10 for pc

There should be an online component to this where you can pick the player and switch the hat. I mean seriously, have u seen people pick out plastic surgery online? They upload their picture and switch everything around.

some of those things that fall under that category are now in the game, I remember a few things people asked for that "just couldnt be done", but ended up getting done. but realistically until gameplay and animations are overhauled to me more lifelike we dont need any frills being put in ahead of that. the "gotta wait till next year" approach is getting kinda old. this is the ps3 not the dreamcast.

Typically, you "gotta wait till next year" for features that aren't currently in the game.
