Not sticking up for anyone or dissing the game..


Plan and simple: It's EA.. Nothing will change with or without another college game.


I think all the people with having a problems on these boards makes them fix one thing and ruin 5... Just stop buying the game if it hasn't changed enough for you and enjoy the game if you like it...

People should start posting video problems on the board so it can backup their points to shut other people up

I've liked the demo for the most part. Played on AA and Heisman with Oregon and Bama only.

-Richardson went for a huge 75 yard run on a stretch play. I didn't cheese and bounce to the outside. Stretch play, got the edge, cut up field and followed my tight end who got a piece of the safety (logic was perfect) and took it the distance.

-Had a few decent runs out of shotgun with LMJ...but...but...it still seems a little off. If a 10 is what we are wanting, I'd say the logic on running out of shotgun is a 6 probably. At times it seems so natural, whether for a gain or loss. At other times it just isn't right. Improvement overall though.

-We don't have any Game Tracks in the demo, was disappointed by that.

-Enjoyed Andrews' comments after halftime.

-Haven't had an injury in 4 games.

-Haven't had a pass interference call in 4 games.

-Punt return is a little better, but I haven't experienced the "amazing improvements" that others are claiming in the punt return. Not AS bad though.

-I actually like the feel of the weight of players unlike some of others that have commented on this thread.

11 was the best ncaa ea has made and they fix the issues. you want a simulator. you have played video sports long enought to know how much progress can be made in a year.

but atleast we have alot of guys that know football on here that we can trust there opinions. J-Unit, playmakers etc.. football guys.

I would prefer a simulation, but that's not exactly a must for me. It has to at least be a challenge though. I enjoyed NCAA 11 before they nerfed the defense.

I can't believe that psychic DBs are back in the game. It's literally almost a game-killer. They better tune that or patch it or something. It's so frustrating that in man-to-man, I run a post corner and my receiver makes a break on a DB out of the position and he just magically knows where my receiver is going to cut. It's so irritating, I can't even put it into words. How is this even in the game when this was one of the biggest complaints from last year? I seriously love everything else about the demo except for a lack of physics, but that's beating a dead horse. If they get rid of the psychic DBs, the game would be incredible.

Looks like EA was totally realistic on that then. Gilbert in real life is absolutely atrocious. By FAR the worst QB to start a whole season at a major program EVER. As a OU fan though I love Gilbert, and what he did to the Texas program.

Played on Heisman:
I thought Kick Returns were way to easy
Deep ball was too easy as well, players were open all the time.
I loved the collision system
Graphics looked like last year
Still gonna buy it of course, look forward to it

I had 4 sacks in against the cpu in the first half and im down 7-3. I am not that in to NCAA but I hope playing the cpu in Madden is the same.

Can somebody test something out for me? On last year's game, there was one glitch that basically ruined the game for me. I could use it every time and score a TD on most plays, no matter where I was on the field. I hope EA fixed it.

When the CPU calls a corner blitz, the CB creeps up to the line of scrimmage and gets down in a crouching position. This tips me off that he will blitz EVERY SINGLE TIME. Last year, when I saw the CB about to blitz, I would just hot route my WR to run a fly pattern and I would throw to him as soon as I hiked the ball and there would be no body between him and the endzone. If the defense did not come out in a corner blitz, I could just audible over and over and over until the defense audibled to a corner blitz. My questions are:

1. Does the CB fake the blitz and drop back in coverage or does he blitz every single time he lines up in a blitz formation?
2. If you audible over and over, does the CPU eventually end up in a corner blitz?
