Look in the options, can be turned off.

That's what happens when you play as the away team in a big stadium.

EA take note please.

Played 2 games as Texas vs Oregon.
Wasn't happy with the 2 minute quarters which doesn't even add up to 1 real quarter, also wanted to see more of Oregon's offense. SO i decided to punt every time I got the ball on 1st down just to see them have more plays ( i didn't take any offensive snaps).

Saw the Oregon QB scramble once in each game. Crushed all but one of their option plays with ease.
QB seemed to think he had 10 seconds in the pocket and payed with getting sacked a lot. Same problem as in past with screens , CPU/AI will call the HB screen then not pass to him and get sacked or try to throw to a WR downfield when there is no pocket to step up in.

Only success they really had was in normal running plays.

First game was 10-0 to Oregon the second was 16-0 Texas (me) blocked a punt out the endzone for 2 pts when i had them pegged at the 1yd line , and returned two fumbles.

Now some of the above things can hopefully be fixed with sliders and patch. BUT here's the kicker.

I only played defense like i said but never took control of any player just called the formation and play, like a D coordinator.
But I only ever called the same play in every formation 2 under man.

If i can destroy the CPU/AI just calling the same play wrecking their option run game how does this bode for the final game. I scored 16 pts in one game without even taking 1 offensive snap, how can that be ?

How many times are you going to copy and paste this? I've counted three so far.

As far as the demo, I'm loving the fact that you really have to pay attention to defense this year. The days of hiking the ball and thoughtlessly chucking it to a planned receiver are over. If the defense is sending an extra blocker and you don't adjust it's sack city. Also, if you're a "throw it up and pray" type of guy you can expect to throw plenty of picks. Good stuff.

Hey, you got any tips for getting off blocks? That's where my problem is. Last year, playing as the MLB, I could literally just move the left stick and my guy would shed. Now if I take on a dive straight up, the center just bowls my guy over. If I contact with a blocker then try to use my right stick, same thing.

I'm pretty good if I can stay clean, but it's getting caught up in traffic and not being able to get off the block that's killing me.

Try to avoid as much as possible. Don't bull rush unless you know for sure that guy has some strength. Bull rushing with a weaker player = automatic you getting knocked on your butt by the blocker.

I have way more success doing spin moves and rip moves.

Are you guys playing on Heisman? b/c I see a big difference in CPU running between AA and Heisman.

Man I 'm really enjoying heisman is a nice and welcomed challenge .The prob I see with CPU running on heisman is that the cpu pancakes the dline way to often but I do like the pancake animations. Another thing on heisman CPU breaks on the ball a lil better than hum defenders. And CPU CB are a lilk too aggressive on the run. Overall i've seen a few minor issues but not any that just stand out as WTF this game is crap. I think minor sliding tweaking will make this game alot of fun. B/C i'm having fun with the demo. Def more fun than I had with 11. Just a much more polished game IMO.

Agree. Heisman is Money!!! Pancakes being the only exception.

Man. After playing both PS3 and Xbox versions, I have this to say.

I dont know why everyone is so excited with the demo.
The game feels the same, looks the same (worse on the ps3) and still has problems.
Now, its just a demo so maybe they will be fixed.
But cmon, playing on Heisman as both Oregon and FSU, my Dline ALWAYS has 2-3 guys on the ground when the opponent is running.

Of course they are going to have a good running attack when half my D-line is on the ground.

Anyway, not a big deal to me, I wasn't expecting this much from NCAA this year.

they still have SuperMan jump in the game, where the DL or LB will jump 50 feet in the air to knock down a pass when the WR is 15-20 yards away from him. Great Job EA!

to easy running the ball also, had 8 carries for 222 yards and 3 td's with Oregon's HB and all i ran was toss's in one of the games i played.

What Should i Buy:
NCAA 11 or NCAA 11 2.0?

playing on heisman:

the AI acts like they don't know what situation they are in. 4th & 15 with 20 seconds left in the 2nd, i decide to go for it. the AI sends the entire front 7, no help over top. Then all the CBs try to jam the WRs and got beat. (Not a smart Play call)

4th and 22 with 7 seconds left, they send the house again (and they're up by a TD) and I score.

I will say, O-line and D-line play still hasn't gotten better for the user. I sent the house vs a running play and EVERY SINGLE LB AND D-LINEMAN GOT PANCAKED (I was so hurt i couldn't find the replay button).

Also, the PA still seems broke, that's kind of a turn off lol

I just had 3 dominating performances against the CPU on Heisman.. Sliders will definitely be needed in certain areas for the CPU to compete with me.. But the CPU pancake blocks were pretty bad sometimes with my whole Dline getting planted on there back.. Gotta definitely tweak that area too.. Other then that the game seem pretty good to me..

I really hope the number of pancakes in the retail version is tuned. Way too many times all of my linemen are on the ground seconds after the snap. Loving the new pass defense though so glad I can finally play zone this year without getting burnt all the time.
