I say otherwise because it does not work majority of the time. I'm not stupid I don't think I should have 10+ yards every time I run it. The play should not get blown up in the backfield by 4+ defenders every time I keep the ball especially when I make the right read. Ncaa '11 on the other hand had it down pat. It was a really good weapon.

Myself, and probably the majority will disagree with you. Last year it didn't work that great. An improvement over past years? Easily, but so far from the demo all runs from the shotgun including reads, draws, etc. all feel great and play out like I feel they should.I say otherwise because it does not work majority of the time. Exactly, I just don't get it.
Maybe somehow we are playing different demos but I have had great success with shotgun running on Heisman and on AA"Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."

You obviously don't completely understand what a CC can do. With teams hiring and firing coaches we will see programs rise, programs fall, stay mediocre, etc. In year 7 of my dynasty GT might hire a new coach who brings in a pass heavy offense which is completely opposite of their current triple option scheme. It isn't just a new way of picking schools like you imply. It goes far beyond that. I may be a bit critical of EA's CC, but it's still a big addition to the series.Lol at these dorks that think Coaching Carousel is a real improvement. Its nothing but a fancy way for u to select a new team and will only be utilized by people who aren't hardcore fans of a particular school; and most cfb fans are hardcore fans for one school. Presentation is useless if that dnt upgrade the real gameplay issues. Reducing suction and improving zone are plusses but if that's all u get? They didn't even touch the player animations. Honestly who the hell is watching pregame intros EVERY game. Those things should b the cherry on top not advertised as meat and potato improvements.
They didn't touch player animations? Really? How do you know this? I've seen numerous new animations, even dive catches.
And I watch the intros every single time I play. I may skip them here and there on the demo, but when the full game comes out and I am in year 15 of my dynasty, you can bet I will have watched every single entrance by the teams.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

This is a good thing if it truly works for you because that means that the concept is not messed up overall and it could just be good defense. I hope that's what it is. And the demo's read option compared to NCAA '11's read option doesn't really compare. But that's JMHO.Comment

Re: NCAA Football 12 Demo Available Now, Post Your Impressions Here (360, PS3)
I understand exactly what it is...the main factor in it is what you the USER do in it...you saw programs rise and fall long before CC. Ive been in dynasties where Northwestern became a beast of a team...there is nothing wrong with CC but gameplay mechanics shouldnt play 2nd fiddle to it. Like I said and alot of people will agree or disagree. This game could have easily passed for NCAA 10. A few new dive catches and adjustments are nice but I dont think you realize the lack of effort over time. This is the 5th next gen installment. If you look at 08 and this version the difference is not vast. No one is asking for an overhaul in one year but after 5 installment they should be building on top of each game not adding simple features and taking some out and advertising dreads and game presentation intros. They need to focus mainly on gameplay and player mechanics...no reason why a nose guard in a 3-4 should have 2-3 sacks in one game because the dline spin move in unblockableYou obviously don't completely understand what a CC can do. Re: NCAA Football 12 Demo Available Now, Post Your Impressions Here (360, PS3)
Real quick:
•The dreads remind me of "Predator"
•Sacks are way too easy, blitzes yield sacks at a high rate (80% percentile)
•Pogo stick jumping LBs are still here
•Skinny posts still money in the bank
•Cpu cant run spread option out of gun, makes teams like Oregon useless.
CC and new tackling system is enough to hold my interest, but same ole legacy issues loom.Comment

Re: NCAA Football 12 Demo Available Now, Post Your Impressions Here (360, PS3)
Well, I played a few games and have a short review. In my opinion, it is impossible to get any pass over the linebackers. I can't even precision pass over them. I don't mind a challenge, but it now limits my passing options to the wideouts by the sidelines where the DBs know the routes better than the reciever. If there is someone here who has success getting balls over the linebackers, I'd like to see a video. Can't seem to make a judgement call on this game yet based on the demo. I'm sure there will be growing pains. Also wondering if the tuner sets will impact gameplay enough to please the community.Comment

once again, ps3 replays look like crap. thanks once again for the afterthought port, tiburon.
also, it's nice to see the return of DBs that cut before the receiver does. yes, that's really great. gonna have to wait for the madden demo to see if that side of the office did any better this year.Last edited by blklightning; 06-30-2011, 10:26 PM.My score for Madden 13: 4.5/10
3 points for graphics, 1 point for the passable commentary, and a half point for the boxart. I can give no further points since the all over the place gameplay would ruin it anyway.Comment

It is a demo.......sounds had to be compressed in order to fit in the demo. Watch any of the retail version videos on youtube, the sound is loud.Comment

11 was a nice jump from 10. No doubt. Looks like a much smaller step up in gameplay this year. Not bashing but it looks like just subtle tweaks for the most part which may not be a bad thing considering 11 was a good game.Originally posted by AUChase89If you can't at least acknowledge the major upgrade between NCAA '10 to NCAA '11.. your' 'impressions' of the game becomes null and void.Gamertag and PSN Mrclutch1013
