    Michael Vick Re-Signs With Nike

All I can say is LOL, I saw this coming.

Michael Vick is back with Nike two years after the company severed ties over the quarterback's involvement in a dogfighting ring.

"Mike has a long-standing, great relationship with Nike, and he looks forward to continuing that relationship," his agent, Joel Segal, said Wednesday.

Segal would not reveal terms of the agreement. Nike declined a request for comment.

"Okay, here's the story. I come from the gutter. I know that. I got no education... but that's okay. I know the street, and I'm making all the right connections. With the right woman, there's no stopping me. I could go right to the top."

I, for one, think he deserves this.

He's worked hard to re-shape his image since he got out of jail and he had a great season last year, so what's the problem (if anyone has one) with this? Good for Mike.

Good for him, I'm a little surprised though initially.

I'm glad, he had some of the most comfortable cleats.

This is what should happen when you do the right things in life. This should be seen as a positive thing.

I also saw this as only taking a matter of time before he was back. Can't wait to see what his first release cleats look like. I would love to see the numbers though.

It is by all means, but the haters will never leave. They will never drop it and just move on. He did a terrible thing, but he served his time.

I believe it was a week ago, he had some type of fundraiser in Philly and it was 40 people protesting it.

He did exactly what he needed to do for himself. He should be very proud. Not many people can do what he has done.

This is what life is about: taking advantage when a second chance is given. He made his mistakes, and now he's coming around full-circle (gaining back what he lost).

Well said, I'm still not a fan but he did his time and hes making the most of his second chance, he deserves credit for that.

Not so sure I'd call it a positive thing... Fair, I suppose, but positive?

Do what you're supposed to do, because that's what you're supposed to do, and that's it. No rewards are necessary.

Often times there is a difference between what is and what appears to be... A difference between doing something because someone tells you you should do it, and doing something because that's who you are.

Not saying it's one way or the other for Mr. Vick, I don't know because I don't know the man nor have I been paying attention to his life off the field. But he brought it upon himself, and just because he served time doesn't automatically mean he's changed. There are a lot of repeat offenders out there.

Again, if Mike has changed, God bless him. But it's important to understand the difference.

Oh I think Mike Vick has changed. He will never fight dogs again and most likely will never own one either.

What's not positive about fixing yourself? Sure there are plenty of people who's good deeds/hard work goes unrewarded. This doesn't make it any less positive when something like his situation does get rewarded.
