Lakers guard Steve Blake injures back in first quarter against Warriors
LOS ANGELES, CA - We were just notified that backup point guard Steve Blake has suffered a lower back strain and is in serious pain. The injury happened tonight against the Golden State Warriors in the first quarter. Blake had just hit a three point shot to put the Lakers up 28-27, but when he came down he fell immediately to the floor clutching his lower back. He is expected to be out a minimum 1-2 weeks.
