its definitely possible. With the way the "no huddle" works in this game you can run a ton of plays without taking much time off the clockComment

Every time I have lost a coin toss, I want a second and hit down on the D-Pad and the CPU always elects kick. Whenever I don't do this, they always hit receive. Am I on to something?“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

Re: NCAA Football 12 Demo Available Now, Post Your Impressions Here (360, PS3)
Is anyone else having this problem.....If you're playing as a D lineman, when the ball is snapped your player moves in a different direction than you are aiming the LS. I can't tell you how many times my guy takes off in a direction that is NOT towards the qb. I've even made sure which direction he's suppose to be headed in the play art, and he goes a different way.
This frustrates me because I just feel I don't have full control over my player.Comment

I've always had the computer kick period.
And I've done a lot more sim plays and watched the computer. The computer will break off for the scramble, but they sure don't get far... and as I say that, the QB breaks for 20 yards. I also saw actual punts! 4 in one half with FSU vs. Bama.
Throwaways also seem to be kinda iffy. Maybe half are logical, and the other half, they have a receiver in the vicinity, open, the QB isn't being overly pressured, and they'll just throw it over his head out of bounds.
Don't know how the hell you guys are putting up 40+ points in a game. I had Oregon just plain run through my defense one game and the score was still only 28-14.
And although I'm no expert on kicking ability, I highly doubt FSU's kicker could make a 53 yarder with plenty of room to spare. Maybe that's why the computer always goes for the ridiculous field goals; it can make them.Last edited by Redacted01; 07-05-2011, 08:10 AM.Comment

Actually, Dustin Hopkins the kicker for FSU was making 50+ yard field goals during their Garnet/Gold game. He was also kicking the kickoffs through the uprights. He's got a monster leg.Comment

A few cons to an otherwise great game!!
- playaction too ineffective
- CPU chose man-to-man late in half / game instead of prevent D
- cut scenes lack fluidity
- announcing is mediocre
- too many dropped INT'sHave an awesome day!!Comment

45-28 is 73 total points.
2 min quarters times 4 quarters is 8 minutes or 480 seconds.
480/73 is 6.57 seconds.
divide 73 by 7 = 10.428 touchdowns total
480/10.428 = 46.029"Not the victory but the action. Not the goal but the game. In the deed the glory."Comment

I stand corrected. I guess with no wind, I could buy maybe making a 55-60 yarder, because that 53 yarder cleared the posts by a ton. Either way, it explains why the computer might be going for these long field goals that would be normal punting situations.Comment

My first game was easy, I played FSU-Bama as FSU and won 14-0. However, when I started playing as Oregon at Texas, I noticed 2 things that may kill the game for me. One thing was that I wasn't able to flip run plays, which is nice when you see the entire defense shift to the left side and you decide you want to run to the right. The 2nd is a problem from last with the Passing icons dissappearing after 5 seconds, causing me to have to press a random button since I can't remeber who's who and throw 2 picks. A lesser problem that won't be in the full game was the lack of instant replays. Other than these, I actually loved how the game played and thought it was a nice touch to add all the different game sponsors.Fluttershy is the best pony.
