The upgrade is complete, but you've probably noticed the forums are only showing posts up to about April 8. Posts made after that are still in the process of being moved over, and that should take another week or two. Feel free to start a new thread.
The site might feel a little slow while work continues. Engineers are staying on it through the night to get things moving faster again. Thanks for your patience.

Yea I haven't been able to "give" on the read option out of the pistol...

My first game was easy, I played FSU-Bama as FSU and won 14-0. However, when I started playing as Oregon at Texas, I noticed 2 things that may kill the game for me. One thing was that I wasn't able to flip run plays, which is nice when you see the entire defense shift to the left side and you decide you want to run to the right. The 2nd is a problem from last with the Passing icons dissappearing after 5 seconds, causing me to have to press a random button since I can't remeber who's who and throw 2 picks. A lesser problem that won't be in the full game was the lack of instant replays. Other than these, I actually loved how the game played and thought it was a nice touch to add all the different game sponsors.

I pre-ordered this morning and I have to say I like what I've seen from the demo.
Everything seems more well-balanced than any football game I've played before. Some things need tweaking but the retail version should be more polished in the gameplay department.

I'm still buying.
The gameplay improvements seem small (other than the tackling, that one was big) but they're still solid. Graphical and presentation improvements are very nice.

There is one thing I don't much care for here and that's,well I'm not sure what it is really but I'll say defensive assist. Not the one where you hold A but the one where before the play the AI starts out for you in a direction. For example if I suspect it's a run up the middle and take my DE from the right and move him to the middle as an extra LB the AI will start him out to the right soon as the play starts unless I'm already holding another direction. Hope that can be turned off.
Yikes. Playing as Alabama,is #3 really that good? I don't watch much college stuff. 119 yards on 9 carries and a 104 yard kick off return.

Played 360 and PS3 simultaneosuly for comparison:
Just played both side by side hooked up via 1080p displays (HP 2509b and the Vizio 47xvtsv-tried each on both sets) and IMO they're not even close. The 360 is far and away better - I wanted to get the PS3 version this year - I normally like the sound processing on the PS3 more so (DTS) than the 360. The effects at night are completely different - at Texas statidum, you have the lights illuminating reflection off the stadium, beams of reflection eminating in the upper parts of the stadium lighting, there are multiple fans taking pictures, everything is anti-aliased MUCH BETTER - this is especially noticeble when looking at the numbers on the back of players and close-ups of the mesh on each players respective jerseys.
The PS3 has a VERY few fans taking pics, though the players and the field are more colorful on the PS3 - somewhat more cartoonish to a degree than the 360. I like the overall look on the 360 much better - you'll be happy with either version, though in the DEMO ONLY the 360 has a much more more smoother appearance and tends to have more detail sparsed throughout - the fans on the 360 look a little more higher resolution - for that matter, the 360 for whatever reason seems to be playing at a higher resoution than the PS3. The PS3 looks like an earlier build than the 360.
The differences are more noticeable when playing the night game with Oregon and Texas - daytime not as prominent. The PS3 oversaturates whites more so than the 360 in this game - played on the same input with the exact same settings. Don't fret PS3 fans, I like the gameplay of the PS3 better and the sound is much more clearer than the 360 - so it's not a one sided affair - when you consider the intangibles. If you only have a PS3 you are going to love this game.
