Why the obsession with broadcast cam?

This is something I just dont get; sure it looks cool, but it is pretty much unplayable unless you're just doing coach mode...while it might be nice to have, but there are more glaring issues like conference prestige, mass editing, fixing the option and no huddle, etc that need tweaking. Are there actually a lot of people wanting broadcast cam or is it just a loud minority?

Dude there's a few threads that already have this discussion. In any case the same argument could be said for EVERY addition each gamer would like added. Not everyone is the same and so I know just because I may not like or want someone elses want, that doesn't make it any less important.
And FYI......it is very playable.

It's important enough that the madden team made sure all 32 stadiums had the proper broadcast cam placement. I don't use it, but there definitely are people who do.

Sorry but until there's a new engine, the gameplay you see is the gameplay you're going to get IMO. The broadcast cam adds a ton of enjoyment for a lot of people so just like "Dreads", "Player Editing" etc... everyones going to ask for certain additions they would like to see. I'd love better OL/DL interaction but we aren't going to get that with this engine. So why not keep asking for multiple things in the hopes we get a few.

The point is that just because people are clamoring for a certain feature doesn't mean they think that feature is more important than gameplay. That people want the best gameplay possible goes entirely without saying.

The real-life tv camera angle is the worst part of a tv broadcast. Rather than the game NCAA emulating real-life by adding a broadcast camera, real-life needs to switch to a down-field view, full-time.

The NCAA development team has groups that work on presentation, and groups that work on gameplay. Time wasn't spent on presentation in loo of game play, there are just different people working on each topic.

Choices are always good..the more the better, i would like to see a tilt zoom feature myself

Ok so that is 32 stadiums the Madden team would have had to work on in order to fully implement such. In NCAA the team would have to implement it in 120 stadiums....plus teambuilder and stock RTG stadiums. Yeah, it is a bit more of a monumental task and a much bigger time sink.

Maybe next year guys?

That's what they did for THIS years Madden. last year they just opened up the CPU vs CPU camera for user use. Not a big task at all.

i dont see why you want it because in ncaa you cant see past 5 yards at most and in madden you cant see past 10 yards
