Online Pass Rumor

Can anyone show me a reference to the rumor that says if you use your online pass before release date that when the servers reset, you will need a new one? I got it early to play others online and just get some human competition and am scared to have to buy 2 games.

You get a 7 day trial when you first use the game. Seeing how no one has had the game that long except EA Vip's I think that you will be fine.

I think u can buy an online pass for 10 bucks.

I don't know about the rumor but it would be a great way for EA to "stick it" to people who got the game early haha

I thought if you broke the street date for games and access them online, you are subject to being banned. I'm not sure why people who get games early play them online seeing as how you could potentially have to buy a new account as well.

I'm not sure why EA would reset the servers for NCAA 12 on release day but I was under the impression you downloaded the pass to your console.

I thought if you broke the street date for games and access them online, you are subject to being banned. I'm not sure why people who get games early play them online seeing as how you could potentially have to buy a new account as well.

That's all a big rumor that is not true at all. Playing games before they come out is not illegal and is not going to get you banned. You did nothing wrong buying the game and will not being banned for playing it. The only people who did anything wrong were those selling it to you early.

Yup. I think last year Madden had a thing that scrolled at the bottom congratulating people who got the game early.

EA servers are down. I had my copy since wed & the servers have been down since thur. so i dont think anyones playing online. I did get the game update already as well.

They were up for a few hours Friday, I up,oases some stuff, then they went back offline again..

u don't have to buy two games .. if u encounter a problem then just purchase a new pass online for like $10 i think

if you deleted your madden online pass, you could just log onto the psn store and go to your downloads and re download it. i would think the same thing applies here.
