I dont see how anybody could confirm this for you. But you can preorder the game today. So in theory you should get the code.

I think in the past I have paid it off a few days before and gotten a print out when I picked it up with the code on it.

Ive heard somebody got an email that they had pay off the game reserve by 10 pm today to receiveh their copy at the midnight release. But never received any such email. I paid it off already however.

And the code wont be on your reserve receipt but rather on the receipt you receive after you get the copy.

Yea, pretty sure you don't get the code until you actually have the game in hand. People would lose it otherwise, not to mention it is kind of pointless until tomorrow.

You get different receipts.

You get the receipt when you preorder.

If you pay it off, you'll get another one.

If you go to the midnight release, they give you the paid receipt early to speed up the line. The paid receipt will have the code on it.

The code is either gonna be on the pickup receipt or in the game itself.

I'm going to go with a third option. For NCAA Football '10 the Gamestop pre-order bonus was the extra Teambuilder slots, the code was on like an insert that they put into the bag when you picked your game up.
