JUCO not in the game?

I've been going through the recruiting pool in my test dynasty for the past hour scratching my head over this one. I can't seem to find any JUCO's anywhere. I'm not sure if it's an oversight and an indicator wasn't included in the new recruiting interface, or if they removed JUCO's from recruiting all together.

I hope I'm crazy here and someone else can shed some light on whether or not they are in the game. It would be terrible if they were out as it's how some lower-tier teams are able to be a bit more competitive (see K-State during the first Snyder era), and last year we saw the impact Cam Newton had on Auburn as a JUCO signing.

I thought there were far too many JUCO players in '11, especially at certain positions (WR comes to mind. One year 9 of the top 10 were JUCO in my dynasty). But no JUCO players at all would be hugely disappointing.

I just saw a JUCO punter pass through my recruiting page, so they're definitely in the game.

Weird. Where does it show whether they are a JUCO or not? It could be a case of me just being unable to find out where it's listed.

This is a good thing. There were way too many Juco's last year.

it should say JUCO right next to what type of player they are

Yea it should say their class(JUCO) up at the top near their name, EA did a good job of hiding it

another nitpick- going through redshirts in dynasty I noticed that in the year class column it doesn't specify whether the player has been redshirted, it just says SR, JR, SO, FR.. although it does say Senior(RS) at the top, its kind of annoying having to look at every single player on the roster

I never waste my time with JUCOs anyways. I always look for the longterm guy.

I'll only go for a JUCO if they are highly rated and already have me in their top 5

If it is a need position I tend to recruit 1 Juco and 1 normal player so I can red shirt the younger guy and play the Juco immediately. The Juco guy filters through fairly quickly so it doesn't really bother me to much. I find the 70 roster cap fairly limiting, but I guess the just don't have the room in the face of all the presentation stuff they are trying to improve.

I'll have to check with the game when at home but i think you dont see juco in the lists... only when you look at that specific "player card"

I just combed through at least half of the prospects in my dynasty, and I swear I don't see 1 single JUCO. I'm going to start another dynasty just to look at the recruits to make sure I'm not overlooking where it is supposed to be marked.

I have found now that JUCO's do exist. They are just very rare among top tier recruits. They become more common the further down the rankings you go. I don't have a problem with how rare they are at the top. I'd much rather how it is now, than have a tuning patch overdoing it and there ends up being too many like last year.
