I want this game. But I have a PS3. So...
does that version suck this year? or are they pretty equal? i know it won't be totally equal since they develop on the 360. but pretty close is good enough for me. thanks in advance. (if your post was useful.

My score for Madden 13: 4.5/10
3 points for graphics, 1 point for the passable commentary, and a half point for the boxart. I can give no further points since the all over the place gameplay would ruin it anyway.Tags: None -

Re: I want this game. But I have a PS3. So...
Bro I was having the same issue, luckily I have both consoles so what i did was buy the 360 version, but did not open it yet because its by default better on that console, an I rented the PS3 version from blockbuster. Played the PS3 version the entire evening til about 5am. I couldnt take it anymore after noticing jagged textures, watered down details an blurryness that was unacceptable for hd gaming. Soon as I popped in the 360 version it was like a breath of fresh air. Vibrant colors, smoooooth player models an textures, legible numbers on uniforms an just crisp. PS3 isnt terrible by no means, but I will say the difference is much greater when comparing this years game on both consoles then last yrs ncaa football 11. Hope you have a 360 for this, but if you dont you'll still have fun, just know that its significantly better on the 360 lol.Last edited by locst24; 07-13-2011, 04:53 PM.Comment

Re: I want this game. But I have a PS3. So...
Played both, love the PS3 version, will not lose any sleep over it. In no way is it significantly better on the 360. Better? Just like every EA Sports game ever has been better on the 360 over the PS3 graphically, sure. I would even say noticeably better. But the difference, while noticeable, is still small.
Ignore the (fairly obvious) console fanboys....... I doubt some of them have even played the PS3 version.Comment

Re: I want this game. But I have a PS3. So...
Bro if you play them both at the same time...which I have, it's quite apparent the PS3 version is not crisp at all. Minimal bother to some, but to the ones who really do care, its obvious. Fuzzy an blurry, or Clear an crisp, its cut an dry.Comment

Re: I want this game. But I have a PS3. So...
This makes no sense. You have no choice...You only have a ps3 so why even bother asking which is better.
This is only good for owners of both consoles and it has been proven that the 360 looks better but that is not new since it has always been that way.
Just get it for the ps3 and live with the lesser graphical edition but it plays just like the 360 which is a good game of football.Comment

Which makes no sense as you can just display it in 720p. My TV channels dont' look like crap just because I watch them in 720p on a 1080p tv.Comment

Re: I want this game. But I have a PS3. So...
I bought a ps3 this year for mlb the show so im new to ps3 sort of. I have always played ncaa on my 360. This year I bought it for both systems and to me I cant notice a difference at all. I like it for both systems and im not a fan boy for either system.Drew Stubbs is fastComment

Re: I want this game. But I have a PS3. So...
I would not lie to you about it bro, these games cost toooo much frickin money to make wrong decisions on. It's not bad or terrible for PS3, I was having alot of fun, but visuals are extremely important too me and I dump entirely too many hours of gameplay into this game every year to settle for an inferior game when it's noticeably better somewhere else. Thats the bottom line, no fan boy here. I've got a custom 320gb ps3 fat backwards compatible so im PS3 to the bone. Just trying to help you out bro. Gameplay an presentation are the same on the game, so are replays an cut scenes, but in game visuals ARE NOT.Comment

Re: I want this game. But I have a PS3. So...
Broadcast channels are nowhere near the same as a video game..
If you try and run the game on 1080p on the ps3 it would downscale to lower then 720p...This was stated by one of the producers.Comment

This is silly! The game plays and looks just fine on PS3 and the 360.Last edited by doubledeuceR6; 07-13-2011, 05:10 PM.Texas Rangers/Saints/LSU/Tottenham Hotspur
