Is anybody having success with the speed option this year? Had some good success with it last year, but it has gotten stuffed every time I have tried to use it this year. Was curious if others have had any success with it.

I've run it quite a bit with Taylor Martinez. Results vary, but I've never broken one more than 10 yards. But I do see guys in the backfield quite a bit. Nothing sliders won't take care of to make it more realistic.
Are you using Michigan? If it can't be run by Shoelace in this game, then it probably can't be run. -

No form of the Option is working for me this year, it's really frustrating that I can't even get out of the pocket with the QB before being hit..
I dare not pitch it or it will be intercepted and taken to the house..
It's as if the CPU knows i'm running an option play. Very frustratingComment

I kill on read option....speed, I get killed. I have had zero success. Not even sure if I've gained a yard. I'm with ya.Check out my Dynasty Blog:

I'm having pretty good success. and boyd is no speed demon. Have you guys tried the fake pitch button. if the HB is completely covered try it, it should open up the QB.
I just had a 73 yard run from it with boyd against ASUComment

Online I took a speed option 60 yards after I pitched it to my RB. It varies but have had decent success thus far.Comment

It's the same thing I've been saying since the demo's release: The option isn't right. I've had success running the flex bone but the speed option has issues. When the QB gets the snap he takes way too long to accelerate. It's like he's dragging someone. On top of this, the blocking scheme is still poor.
I've tried it with Shoelace and it's still messed up.Comment
