Should I buy this game?

I have been a life long NCAA fan, and I am usually not overly picky like some people can be. I was pumped for this year's version to come out as always, but waited to purchase until I saw some info on the game. After reading through the forums it seems like this game is very buggy. Is it really that bad or are people just blowing things out of proportion? Also, what is the real issue with the game freezing? That to me is a game killer, and I will steer far away from this game if it is not fixable.

Well, IMO, it is no worse than any other game. This is the simple fact of coming to a message board with 1000's of fans of the game accumulated in one place where everyone is passionate about it.

The pros of the game are going to get a light shone on them, and the cons of the game are also going to get a big light shone on them.

Bottom line to me is, its very playable right out of the box. Does it have its problems? Yes. But show me a game that doesn't.

Buy it.its a really fun game.the new tackle motions are great.the defense ai is greatly improved.game freezing has happened to me 1 time in like 10hrs of play xbox version.they are,some other small problems with fg logic on hisman level.custom playback problems,if your opponent wins the toss they always defer.plus ea always have game tunners out in a timely manor.all and all I'm having a good time with it.

Look at the reviews and see for yourself. Bugs aren't mentioned by the critics, and I've only noticed a few little things. Nothing game breaking, that's for sure.

Patches will come. Until then, you will have a great game.

It's an okay game, nothing spectacular pretty much just a better looking version of NCAA 11. I bought it just to hold me over til Madden is released and then this game is a trade in.

Good because that is honestly my biggest concern. I hate nothing more in a sports game than dedicating half an hour to forty five minutes playing it to have it lock up on me at the end of the game.
