Im tired of being a beta tester

I stood in line eagerly awaiting the release of a NCAA Football game at midnight thinking that if IGN gave this game an 8.5 it must be even better than I thought... I have never been more wrong in my life.

Im tired of having no running offense because 99% of running plays end in the backfield. Im tired of not being able to throw the ball because of the newly introduced super defense and the not so new super linebackers. Im tired of having my custom playbooks ruin what little fun I have had on this game. Im tired of looking at grass that looks like a water painting. Im tired of hearing about newly improved defense that is purely cosmetic, when the ball is actually thrown to your zone the defender will simply freeze up wondering what to do. Im tired of using Andrew Luck and somehow, miraculously over throwing receivers 5 yards from me, and if Andrew Luck over throws receivers you better bet that every other QB is 10 times worse. Im tired of having my game freeze LITERALLY at least 50 times now. Im tired of shelling out 60 dollars because I love College football year after year because I think EA might have actually finished making, better yet even worked on the game.

If your argument is "Well you don't have to buy the game. EA did a good job they just need to work out the bugs." Hate to tell you, but you are crazy. As of right now we are beta testers. Even thought EA should hire people to do that for us so we can just enjoy the game. It simply is insane. Last year was an AMAZING game. I cannot tell you how many games I played, but I don't understand how you can go so far BACKWARDS after I game as good as 2011.

    Anyone else feel this way?

O almost forgot, Road to Glory SUCKS this year. It takes 10 minutes to get your player 99 overall. If you are a WR you will be forced to make up routes if you ever want the ball thrown to you. RB will be stopped behind the line 50% of the time, and for some reason I got the sense that my power RB could run faster in HS than my speed RB. Defense if beyond stupid. The game won't reward you for actually playing lockdown D instead they want you to get 15 INTs / FMBLs. Otherwise you suck. What made me come post this was I made a POCKET PASS QB and he would overthrow EVERYONE. Not to mention the fact that he froze 2 times before even getting done with 1 game.

I was with you at first, then I spent some quality time in practice mode on Heisman and now I'm having a good time.

To be fair, I haven't play many games yet this year, but I am catching the drift from everyone that once again, the new features should have already been there and they didn't address the most pressing gameplay concerns.

Speaking with your wallet is usually more beneficial. Granted NCAA and Madden are multimillion dollar franchises..

Still, if you don't feel it's "up to snuff" for you, put that money elsewhere.

You do understand that the only reason they make money is because they own the licensing, which forces us into buying they're terrible games. Hence, making them money without even working on the game.

I think NCAA 12 is a great example of "careful what you wish for" for gamers. For the longest time we've been asking for CPU AI that is improved, especially on defense. So EA finally does it and what do we end up with? A bunch of threads like this with people whining the game's "too hard" and their favorite BS in the past doesn't work anymore. Careful what you wish for, you just might get it...

Really? Did someone stand in line and hold a gun to your head to buy the game? No one's forcing anyone to buy anything. You buy it because you want to buy it.

Truthfully ODogg, I love the fact that the game is now "hard" to most people. My only gripe is the freezing and text smear issues. Otherwise I'm a happy camper.

I think they go overboard with what they think is an improvement. Yes, I wanted improved CPU AI, but their is a difference between smart AI and simply having the CPU cheat by swatting at every pass and getting through your O line before you can even snap the ball.

Sounds like you just hold on to the ball too long. I've gotten sacked, but I'm never "not having enough time" or have my running plays blown up 100% of the time. It's you; not the game buddy. Either get off Heisman and try AA as it has been said around here AA is great this year, or try some sliders.

I've got no problem with being sacked, but I can honestly say 50% of my running plays end in the backfield. The other 50% end in a positive gain, I like the fact that this year 3-5 yards is a GREAT gain because last year if you gained anything less than 7-8 yards you were doing something wrong. Also, its not that Im having trouble winning. Im winning close games. Which would be fine, but when all the things I listed in the OP happen I feel somewhat cheated.

I often feel like I am playing a different game from a lot of people on these boards

The running if anything is to easy instead of to hard. I very rarely get blown up in the backfield

The passing is extremely frustrating. Not because the cpu cheats but because they are actually in position and I make poor choices

I just don't see the things in the game that so many on here complain about

I play on Heisman with Slow speed th-Hold at zero, and man has the game opened up for me, I was playing Boise State last night using North Carolina and I there much more of a better team against me. MY rushing attack thought was just sick. I can see the holes open up with no issues. Also keep your finger off the turbo button until you see an opening, this is KEY man trust me. I started the game with my starting RB getting hurt, he had 4 carries for 33 yards, Then my backup came in and just ran all over Boise state's D, he rushed 10 times for 89 yards, and this was almost at the end of the 2nd quarter. I do admit I get sacked a lot because I hold the ball too long. That's my only issue, but that a user issue. Slow speed and Thresh Hold at Zero makes the game better, because real speed comes into effect.

                              Then my game Froze....
