Suggestions for a team for player with no allegiance
I went to a college without a real football program, so I don't have a true allegiance to any college team. This makes it hard to choose a team to play with because it's not like when I play Madden or NHL and have an investment in the teams I play with. Which college team should I play with that will be the most exciting and entertaining?Tags: None -

If you want an exciting and entertaining team then Oregon is probably a good choice. You could also make a teambuilder team for your college and use that.Comment

Re: Suggestions for a team for player with no allegiance
depends on what you are looking for, if you're looking for a dynasty team Oregon has a ton of uniform combinations and spread option offense that is fun, Notre dame has a wide open passing attack offense a solid/improving defense and is Independant so you can schedule whoever you want, Northwestern is a small private school with a good young team in a tough conference, FIU and FAU are 1* teams in a recruiting hot bed that are fun to try build into powerhouses....
if you're just looking for a team to play online with id say south carolina, michigan st, or maybe arkansas, they are all in the 13-20 ranked range, scar has a great wr and rb, msu has a stong running game and ark has a good wr a solid rb and a new starting qbComment

Re: Suggestions for a team for player with no allegiance
You know whats great about NCAA football (in real life and in the game)? EVERY team has a backstory and a personal tail. Every team has something to like and dilike about them. The possibilities are endless. Thank God for college football.
Thank you for helping me remember this.Comment

Re: Suggestions for a team for player with no allegiance
I live in NY and went to a great basketball school, St. John's, but their football team wasn't DI and ended 10 years ago. This thread might also help me find a team to follow in real life because I watch random teams (Texas, Boise St, ND, Oregon).Comment

Re: Suggestions for a team for player with no allegiance
I have an allegiance to a college because my dad works there... And I have season tickets. Haha. You should probably just search around with teams. Find one that catches your eye. Or you could make one

Re: Suggestions for a team for player with no allegiance
I'd like to take one of the exciting teams to play with like Oregon or Michigan. Maybe I should make an SJU team and throw them in as an independent.Comment

Re: Suggestions for a team for player with no allegiance
That sounds like fun.
I also like using middle of the road teams in good conferences. Its why I might use Virginia as my dynasty team.
Other teams like this:
Cal
NC State
Northwestern
Utah
Arizona State
Wake ForestComment

Re: Suggestions for a team for player with no allegiance
If you want to stay in the NY/NJ area with similar team colors, you can always take over Rutgers. You'll be a decent but not great program in a BCS conference. But I'd imagine if you're a basketball fan, the rivalries will carry over and you probably hate Rutgers.|San Francisco 49ers||Arizona Wildcats||Phoenix Suns|
