Re: ViLLiO's All-American Sliders (Difficult)

Just finished up a game between UNC and Miami. I dropped a heartbreaker in Miami, 38-35. AJ Blue (UNC) got hurt in the third quarter, effectively crippling my running game. I became one dimensional, but was still in contension until about a minute to go when I failed to recover the onside kick. Miami's Lamar Miller torched the UNC defense for 4 TD's and 271 yards on the ground.

Here's how it looked statistically:

UNC

B. Renner 19-29, 272 YDS, 3 TD, INT

AJ Blue 12 CAR, 67 YDS, 2 TD
H. Furr 11 CAR, 17 YDS

D. Jones 7 REC, 151 YDS, 2 TD
J. Adams 5 REC, 44 YDS, TD
N. Hurst 4 REC, 52 YDS

MIA

J. Harris 11-19, 156 YDS, INT

L. Miller 28 CAR, 271 YDS, 4 TD

L. Miller 4 REC, 17 YDS
C. Ford 2 REC, 33 YDS

Should I be alarmed that my defense gave up almost 300 yards on the ground? The game has the Tar Heels defense listed as a B+, and the Hurricanes offense as an A-. Still, could weather have been a factor as well? This one was played in the rain. Either way, I liked the way the game played. At halftime, I was up 21-10. Then, like I said earlier, Blue went down in the beginning of the third and my balanced offense went down the toilet shortly thereafter.
