the gamerosters stuff is usually stolen from another communities rosters, and sold, and then someone uploads them for free.

OS community rosters have been sold by gamerosters before

I'm pretty sure someone already bought a copy of their rosters and then uploaded it for people to download for free.

If I remember correctly, I read that Pryor was still on Ohio St. and very little changes were made overall other than just putting names on the default roster.

And yeah, don't ever pay for rosters. Just search around these forums, there are plenty of roster sets that have already been released and available to download for free that are pretty accurate. And as the season rolls on, the rosters found on OS just get more true to life.

Really, don't ever pay for rosters. That's as bad as those people charging for teambuilder schools in my opinion.

ya i downloaded them, but...i dont wana be mean or nothin but theres a lot of mistakes. im guna hav to wait for version 2 of that one. thanks for all the info tho guys. i wasnt sure it was a scam or wut. it seemed kinda legit so i thot id ask here first lol. hopefully by midseason there will an excellent free roster out

hav u checked it out yet?? u should download it and take a look. or go to the v.2 corrections thread, its heatin up with requests in there lol. i used to do my own rosters wen i was younger. now with work everyday i would still be doin them wen ncaa 13 came out so im jus tryna find the most accurate but no one can predict the future, who will play, who wont, so i kno its difficult until the season starts

No, I haven't checked it out because I downloaded a somewhat decent base and made the corrections I deemed necessary. I'm sure the corrections thread is filling up because everyone thinks that their team is the most important, but the fact of the matter is they could have been sitting around for the past week doing their own rosters rather than waiting on a set that was never projected to be perfect anyway.

Right now I don't need Akron's backup Right Guard to have the correct hometown or to make sure that the 3rd string Middle Linebacker from Alabama has the correct color visor.

I play as one team and am worried about my opponents. I made the major changes and some changes in the big 12 and I was good.

Later on when there's a super accurate set out there I might download it. For right now though, I'm set for awhile.

I'm all for saving money, but I'm not even mad that people charge for rosters. If people are dumb enough to spend their money, then that's on them. I just have a hunch that the rosters gamerosters.com and others that charge for rosters put out aren't always their own. That's the problem in my opinion. Don't try to steal others' work and pass it off like you did something.
