Sluggish menu's and interface

Has EA ever addressed why so much of the interface runs so sluggish? From the menus, the recruiting screens, even selecting teams. The play calling menus has gotten much better through the years but even it is still too much of a chore to navigate quickly.

It obviously wouldn't enhance gameplay, but smoothing these things out would def. help to improve and polish the overall product.

Hmm, that's interesting. I personally have never thought to myself that the menus were sluggish.

PS3's menus are painfully sluggish. It annoys me most while recruiting.

Ps3 is pretty bad, xbox isn't quite as painful.

for xbox if you save the game to the HDD it runs smooth.

PS3 is pretty bad and I think it makes a big difference in how much I enjoy the game.

I REALLY wish Sony would be a little more open to things such as this- you can DL/install games to console from the PSN Store, but can't install game on console from disc. PS4 better have something like this...

PS3 is pretty bad and I think it makes a big difference in how much I enjoy the game.

And back to the point of the post--> Game is very sluggish in all menus on PS3, especially in the player editor.

it's horrible on xbox too, even installed to HDD

Thank you! Going to download it to the HDD right now. These menus are quite annoying when your just trying to fly through stats and polls, etc.

I would also like to see something done to smooth out the menus. For me it's during recruiting. Constantly I press "A" (Im on 360 obviously) and there is a good 1.5 sec window where nothing happens. Thinking I didn't press "A" I'll press it again only to see that I choose a recruiting pitch I didn't want.

Mildly annoying.

Definitely slow on the PS3. I've been saying this for a couple of years now. I sure wish they'd address it. It's not a breaker, but it's sure annoying.

Yes. PS3 is almost unacceptable. XBOX is somewhat tolerable, but still sluggish at times.

It is brutal on PS3. I don't mind it so much just clicking through menus, but when you're trying to recruit or build a custom playbook, it is ridiculously slow. Obviously we have dealt with it for years now, so I guess I am used to it.

How do people not realize how sluggish and laggy they are??

Play a game of NCAA 2005 (any ps2 ncaa for that matter)... and see how much quicker and snappier the menus are. And playcalling screens.

It makes SOOOOOOOOOOOO much difference when you are trying to call a play and the menus slow you down. I play alot of in-house games with friends who are screen watchers so I like to call plays quick and this kind of ruins that. (Don't even try to argue the fact that there are 3 plays on the screen because that isn't the issue). I'm talking about the lag of the menu.

Not to mention all the other things you need to navigate through menus for.
