That's like saying just because your console didn't freeze, then there is only a handful of consoles froze with the game. Which is far from the case since there is an EA engineer on this board now just for that problem alone. So it ismore then just a handful of people.

Is the game broken ? No

Is there a big difference between how the cpu AI plays with named rosters and non named rosters ? YES

I mean the OP wasn't the 1st person to bring this up. This been brought up on various websites for the past week now. It is an issue.

It's not like that at all. Personally, I don't think this is as big of a deal as others. The game plays fine to me and I wouldn't even notice this problem if someone didn't point it out. Which means the game isn't "broken", which is what I was trying to get across. The person I was replying to was acting like the world was coming to an end. I was attempting to reassure them that the game still plays great and there's no need for chicken little to make an appearance.

No harm no foul.......I guess it is because I have played against the cpu in so many games now with and without names I can notice quicker then your average person.

Since so far I have played 20 games with names, and 20 games without names. I can clearly see the difference in behaviour.

Yes, it was I who needed to be talked off the edge. I really like how the game plays without names, so with names and seemingly changed gameplay, is it broken? Prob not, poor choice of words on my part, but this is a huge issue if gameplay has changed drastically. Hopefully its something cosmetic.

I agree it does need to be addressed. The game shouldn't be playing differently with/without names.

How different is behavior? Other than special teams.

He scrambled 7-10 times against me with named rosters in a play now game.

This issue seems to be like the freezing issue. It is effecting some people and not effecting others. With named rosters, denard Robinson don't scramble against me using Fairdale Kings roster or OS community rosters.

Default rosters with no names, he will scramble 12 to 20 times.

So for those it doesn't effect, consider yourself lucky. By chance BA2929 did your console ever freeze with this game ?

It's frozen one time in 20+ games. That was at the very beginning of a dynasty game with OS roster names.

See mines froze 5 times in 40 games with named rosters and zero times with non named rosters.

So maybe the console freezing and change in cpu AI behaviour is tied to named rosters.

Since named rosters seem to be the common theme.

I see on the original name roster it says for Robinson,

balanced

and for non-name roster it says

scrambler

. Oh well back to no names for me.

I just noticed this. I went to check on it and it seems that all the Scramblers are listed as Balanced and vise versa. i.e. Dan Persa is listed as a Scrambler but w/o names is balanced.

But I noticed this too: If you look at the place to edit there attributes they're listed correctly (Denard is listed as a Scrambler under this one).

Yeah......but when you play the game, they play what their tendancy say they are the 1st page, which is balanced. Just like DEs drop from being pass rushers to run stoppers, hard hitters are changed to coverage.

So basically guys are playing opposite of their intended playstyle? I never thought id play without names but thats how its looking.
