Re: Where is the BeAGm info
It's nothing really new. They're just updating their "Hockey Whiteboard" thing.
- Brand-New Sim Engine: The NHL®12 simulation engine has been completely overhauled to make it more accurate and realistic than ever. Every statistic and result that the sim engine creates is based entirely on the ratings and playing styles of the 12 players that are on the ice.
- Brand-New Sim Intervention: EA SPORTS™ Action Tracker now lets you follow every important event that happens in the game through a 2D visual display of the ice. If your team starts to get into trouble, you can now intervene at any point in time of a game!
- Improved Trading AI: In NHL®12, trade AI has been revamped to make CPU to CPU and CPU to User trades more authentic to today's NHL®
- Retired Jerseys: When you create your Be A GM you now have the ability to play with Retired Jerseys. This means certain jersey numbers are excluded to the players depending on what NHL® Team they are on.
- Misc Improvements: Be a GM in NHL®12 is more authentic than ever with more accurate injuries throughout a season, rookie growth, and rookie salaries

So was this the new information on Be A GM? I was expecting a little more because we already knew about this info. It's nothing really new. They're just updating their "Hockey Whiteboard" thing.

Re: Where is the BeAGm info
It wasn't meant to be new information. They were just updating the feature list/hockey whiteboard thing with the "press release/bullet point" style list of the new additions.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.

Re: Where is the BeAGm info
Yeah, I'm hoping there's at least a bit more info to be released on BEAGM, that we haven't heard about yet.
I'll be playing NHL'12' till my fingers bleed. But I will be a little disappointed if the info we know of, proves to be it.1969 NFL ChampionsComment

I want to know about the schedules in season after the first year of Be A GM. I hope they are fixed.Comment

This has driven me crazy for the past couple years. I hate playing ten road games in a row and then coming home to play eleven home games. I want the schedule realistic.NHL: Dallas Stars

Re: Where is the BeAGm info
better hold of with your NHL 11. i think EA is trying to "sell" us NHL 12 with 1 important (yet unproven until the release) SIM engine. They can avoid the problem in this by creating different # of games per season (82, 66, 41 etc.).
Gameplay is also being marketed for NHL 12 (annoying CPU teammates who cannot cross the blue line etc) which needs to be seen.
I was expecting like of Goalie fatigue which I think (IMO)add more realism in BaGM instead of goalie fights that they keep on "promoting".Comment

Re: Where is the BeAGm info
Yep...couldn't agree more, Canucksss.
The fighting being chosen over something like fatigue, is imo...quite a concession to the kiddies. Dang... apparently another year of house rules to make having a decent backup goalie worth it.
The goalies are "Live" this year! But they don't get fatigue, or get injured [user team] in BEAGM.

Re: Where is the BeAGm info
Definitely, remember the wailing and gnashing of teeth, justified I might add, that occurred last year because of the GM bugs that caused star players to end up in the minors?
For a generation of guys who grew up with those early Genesis titles and might not have the time to take part in online leagues etc, Be a GM / Pro or at the very least a season mode, is still the be all and end all of the game. Needs to be something we can dip into when we have a couple of hours to spare but still has an ultimate long-end goal of winning the Cup.
I usually give online a try, but the inevitable glitching puts me off. I don't necessarily blame EA, it's hard to make perfect goalies but human nature will inevitably exploit any loopholes unless you match up with a friend.
I like the offline continuity of playing an NHL season with a team, icing a few rookies, heck, I even consulted the big yearbook when I came close to breaking some real-life records in NHL 10. Offline provides the opportunity for us men of a certain age to make our own stories.
In any sports game, offline still rules for me.Comment

Re: Where is the BeAGm info
Yeah, Online rules in non sports games such as COD, but for most sports gamers, Franchise Mode or such is the most important aspect of a game. Online play has grown alot for the hockey series though since the introduction of EASHL, but as previously stated, glitching and such usually drives most back to their Franchise Mode.Comment
