Jay Ray... aka QB #16, ran for 886 yards on 140 carries. Sacked only 13 times this time. Threw for 2265 yards on 311 attempts. Number of carries is almost identical when simming. Jay Ray is described as a scrambler in the dynasty. Michigan was only 7-5 this time.

Army's QB broke 1000 yards using the unnamed random naming roster where people don't lose their status; so did Georgia Tech's QB. I didn't see that with named rosters.

I put in there twice.......but most people just blew me off as though I didn't know what I was talking about and was trying to rain on their parade.

Even took pictures of the diferent screens.

I tried that. Doesn't change them back at all. Once you change a name or piece of equipment, their tendancy changes and stays that way.

I have not. But even if it did fix it, that'd be A LOT of work to do. It'd be nice if EA could just swap the two terms in the programming code and release a patch. I pray it's that easy, but part of me thinks it might not be.

Tested and found the same issue from default to named. Big difference in play by Robinson when it comes to scrambling. The question looks to be if the named rosters can be salvaged once this bug is corrected. If not, that will be a lot of wasted effort by the roster makers.

I increased Denard's speed, no change. Changed it back, no change. Tendency in edit always says scrambler.

It seems like it is just some stupid piece of code that someone left in, because everything in the edit describes them correctly. It's only on the roster list where it is wrong. But yes, it needs to be fixed. Time to wait on dynasty some more. Sim results don't tell much.

What if you do a complete overhaul and give them a pocket passer rating, does that change at that point. If if does then save it and go back and change it to his original rating. See if that works. I would do it myself but I'm watching a movie with my kids, sorry

Nope. Dropped Denard Robinson to the worse possible Pocket Passer. Saved it. It said Pocket Passer. Put his ratings back to what they were by default, saved it. It says scrambler in the edit screen but balanced on the main screen.

So unfortunately that doesn't fix the problem. This needs a EA's intervention.

Kind of funny when I mentioned this last week, pople thought I was raining on their parade. Mentioned 6 hours ago and people thought I was crazy and didn't know what I was talking about.

I've been coding for many years now, since the 90s. There is something wrong with this game's database table.

The cpu Game Play AI is greatly altered when using user entered names and user edited equipment.
