Yeah we are putting a hold on our roster edits until something is said by EA.

Strength shouldnt factor in breaking tackles or trucking technically. If breaking tackles was determined by strength, then why is there a need for a BTK or TRK rating???

EA has more detailed ratings than they can handle.

Remember the big release say feature. Adjusting ratings in dynasty, did this cause the screw up???

Someone should delete their game data and not download the patch, try it then.

Well for what it's worth, I tried to communicate this to EA on Twitter. I wasn't distasteful about it. I just tried to being this thread to their attention.

Being that other players tendancies have changed, I noticed some things.

1. LBs get a lot of tips and INTs on named rosters, even when they aren't in position to do so.

2. Safeties who suppose to be heavy hitters, turn into coverage guys and Intercept passes they normally wouldn't.

3. WRs get off the line quicker on named rosters and they hit stick tackle people on Ints. I had intercepted a pass and a WR hit sticked me.

4. Thomas with his new found strength is now more likely to keep the ball on read option plays. More like 90% of the time now. This was the same way in NCAA 11 when you made a QB's strength too high.

5. DEs don't generate a pass rush on named rosters like they do on non named rosters.

Now I am REALLY glad I didn't delete the default roster. I will have that to play until they fixed the name rosters issue.

Way too many players to edit get them back to what they suppose to be tendancy wise. Which is another thing, with the work around even though they back to their correct tendancy, their ratings will be out of whack.

Good players will be made weaker, weaker bad players will be made stronger.

Honestly, I would name the rosters all over again if EA could fix/patch this without damaging something else gameplay-wise. Thats a bigger fear for me at the moment that salvaging rosters.

Anyone try without the patch loaded? If not, I will now.

What happened to the dude that said he was going to create Denard Robinson to see if it is actually calculating as a scrambler like the edit menu says?

So, final stats for QB Thomas w/ 80 STR - 9/14, 162 yds, 1 TD - 14 CAR, 61 YDS, 40 after 1st hit, 2 fumbles, 7 times sacked!! He def. held onto the ball way too long in the 2nd half. He might have had 1 true scramble after halftime, the rest were sacks.

It doesn't appear, atleast in Thomas's case, that changed his STR rating to get his Scrambler tag back, helped him much at all IMO.

And plz, never mention Madden 08, LOL. That game was an abortion in a box.

Try both. Default first. I'm pretty sure it will say scrambler no matter what because even in the edit menu, it calculates him as a scrambler. Everything should hopefully come out scrambler; no balanced. That means there is something flipped between editing a player in some way and his tendency being altered in the roster list.

I did it earlier. I edited my original post. Same issue.
