Re: NCAA Football 12 Possible Roster Glitch
Yes, but did you actually bother simming a season without names, or auto names which has no effect. You will see a drastic difference. Option QB's are over 1000 yards rushing without real names. Denard Robinson went for over 800 on 140 carries without names. Turn the names on, the option QB's disappear from the top of the list and Denard loses over 300 yards of rushing, and is sacked more often. Don't do a single sim with him named and assume "Oh, that looks normal; it's fine." Compare it to the original roster and I guarantee you'll see differences. Variance is possible, but if you do it a few times, there will be obvious differences in the balanced Robinson vs. the scrambling Robinson. On your named roster, go take a look at Andrew Luck as well. Bet he has more YPC and number of carries than he ever should have.Did you guy's ever think that EA may have done this on purpose? They are being sued for making the players look and play like their real life counterparts and that lawsuit ALSO includes the fact they make it so easy to edit players and make them play just like they do in real life. This is probably a precaution put into the game to make sure they are covered on all bases and I highly doubt they'll fix it. All the other glitches you guy's have mentioned I haven't seen. Not sure how many game's I've played but I've done 3 full seasons in RTG, 2 season's of my offline dynasty, and I'm at Week 11 in a online dynasty without a single glitch and shockingly life like stats.
The team's seem to play fine on my roster because players like Denard Robinson that was used here have nearly 800 rushing yards so that tell's me even though his tendency has changed he is still scrambling. Going off last year's stats for team's so far in my current dynasty everything is nearly spot on or within 50 yards of where it should be.Comment

Re: NCAA Football 12 Possible Roster Glitch
Just everyone's tendency is different. Players whose tendency changes start to make plays out of context of their tendency. Also the gameplay is more sluggish and slower. I use FSU and Chris Tompson's speed is a 94, and using the unnamed rosters he is a lot faster than if I use the named ones. That's just couple examples. Better animations using default rosters. Overall better experience. A friend and I played one game with named rosters and one without with the same two teams and the gameplay was night and day. A lot better with default rosters.NBA-Chicago Bulls
NFL-Chicago Bears
NCAA Football-Florida State Seminoles
NCAA Basketball-Michigan Wolverines

Re: NCAA Football 12 Possible Roster Glitch
Somebody give this guy a medal.Year after year after year... when does it stop? What will it take to get the NCAA to relinquish the licensing rights to another company. I mean this is what we get from EA. It is like a never ending saga with the same drama year in and year out. It has simply become clear they do not test their games, patches, or tuners.
I have gotten to the point I am literally afraid to install any patches or tuners from this company and getting really close to writing them off all together.
I mean look at the issues we have this year:
Rosters, Can't edit players without tendencies changing
Deep Ball is automatic (Poor safety play)
Lighting and degradation is broken for those who have installed the patch
Possible issue with the pass coverage slider (broken)
What next EA? I really would like another company to begin developing a college football game.Comment

Online Dynasty freezing, rosters freezing the game, online features not working, the start button glitch/freeze, not being able to edit all rosters only in online dynasty....just naming a few more to your list. Got to be embarrassing for EAYear after year after year... when does it stop? What will it take to get the NCAA to relinquish the licensing rights to another company. Re: NCAA Football 12 Possible Roster Glitch
How about those PAC 12 logos being correct on the field!!
I mean this was something people were posting about back in March. EA, the PAC 12 logos are reversed on the fields. Please fix..
Good to see Ben got the logo correct at mid-field for FSUComment

Re: NCAA Football 12 Possible Roster Glitch
It seems pretty apparent that EA doesn't care much about the end comsumer. It's literally a job to these programmers, not much different than somebody completing a powerpoint presentation at their workplace. You feel sympathetic when you realize these are just normal, regular, college educated dudes who got a job a EA and aren't necessarily as talented as we want them to be, but are good enough to churn out a game every year that makes the company a lot of money. Can't blame these guys for being as bad at their jobs as a lot of other "educated morons" are in all walks of life.Year after year after year... when does it stop? That being said, if i could actually bet money on this, i would have no problem putting down a grand that if another company made a football game, NCAA/Madden would outsell it 10-1. It's us that created this issue if you think about it.Comment
