Changing the time/weather in online play

Is it possible to change the time of day or weather in an online game, specifically ranked matches? It gets boring playing afternoon games all the time, when night games are obviously better lol. Or having rain or snow or whatever makes it more interesting sometimes. It was in some of the previous games, why not this one?

Kind of. If you go to Play Now mode, click through until it loads the Weather Channel data, then back up to the main menu. Then pick an online game, and if you are the home team it should have the local weather. Once Madden comes out and the online population drops, you can go into Unranked and wait until it doesn't find anyone, then choose Create a Ranked Game and you will be the home team.

I've never been able to get it to work with custom weather though.

Yea its pathetic this is not even an option during online rank matches. I'm with you it's boring playing afternoon game after afternoon game. Hey EA change it to change the experience some in the game.
