So is dynasty playable?
I've read so much stuff about coaches progressing too much and too fast and therefore making their players progress more than they usually would, in essence devaluing the importance of recruiting. Is this the case? Should I even start a dynasty now, or wait til the issue gets patched? Experiences anyone has had with dynasty so far would be appreciated. Thanks.Tags: None -

It certainly isn't unplayable, but if you're only going to do one dynasty, you might want to hold off. I'm doing one right now, but I'll probably start a new one somewhere down the line after a patch gets released. Plus, more accurate rosters will be out by then too. -

I'd hold off until the next patch. You never know if you would have to restart to get the fixes. In the past it hasn't been the case, but who knows this year.
There are a lot of things expected in the next patch.Comment

I didn't know patches had any effect on anything already saved, is this true? Also I REALLY do not want to wait another month to start my dynasty, if it's going to take that long to get another patch, I think it would be more productive to edit as much of it myself as I can.Comment

I think I'm just going to start mine. I'll just have the default rosters autonamed and go from there. At least I'll get good gameplay and decent sim stats.Comment

Re: So is dynasty playable?
I'm enjoying mine. I'm in year 5, and before the season I go and edit the QB's that are 99 unless I think they deserve it. Not that it matters that much because I don't care about other teams ratings.Comment

The coaching thing is nitpicky to be completely honest. You'll still see realistic simulation stats and the like years into your dynasty.Comment
