OK so I saw someone else say this but you can fix this by adjusting the STRENGTH HIGHER, and TRUCKING LOWER. Each point counts towards one another. In other words if I lower the trucking by 2 then i can counter that by raising the strength by 2. There isn't a set rating number that has to be set you just have to play with it by each player. You will see the scrambler turn to balanced and once that is done the player will be a scrambler. HAHA it sounds so backwards but it works.

It is complete BS that we have to do this but until it is patched that is the easy solution.

The only roster it ever shows for me is the community one I downloaded. But that's not the one it's using during Play Now. I cannot find the default roster listed anywhere.

Delete all your rosters in the FILE MANAGEMENT menu. Once you do that, turn off your game. Turn the game back on and save your roster as DEFAULT. You'll then have the default roster.

Actually, you were. Think whatever you want to though. I love how the problem is we keep buying a "broken" game and not EA continues to release a game that is "broken."

This. If anyone in the world wants to play a game of college football, then they have to play EA's game. Its not like I have 5 choices to pick from, I have one. That being the case, EA deserves the blame they get from shipping out a game full of bugs. They wanted to be the only game in town and they got their wish. So now everything they do will be magnified 10 times more then if we had other choices to pick from.

For what it's worth, you don't really have to touch strength to get QB's to be scrambler. Just lower their trucking to 10 or so. It's unrealistic to see QB's truck in most cases anyway. I got Denard Robinson to be a scrambler without touching strength.

If this issue wasn't fixable, (and I know Christian said it was, so this is rather trivial) I too would consider it a game breaker.

I'm still enjoying the game, I don't think this is a gamebreaker it's just very annoying. As long as the patch fixes this I'm fine. I don't have any issues with deep balls like others seem to. Maybe I just don't throw deep enough.

Been keeping up with this thread all day at work, and finally got home to take a look at the problem.

Every position is effected. Essentially two of the three tendencies are switched, ala it's something in the table is screwed up. Obviously the one listed on the ratings screen is not being recognized by the game. This is a huge problem because these tendencies obviously effect the game engine. Yes it's most notable in QB's, but I don't want my balanced cornerback being a hard hitter, etc.

Disappointing to say the least.

It's getting worked on. No ETA for fix, but they are aware.

Every year I think I can put up my PS2 and NCAA Football 06 into the attic for good, and every year I inevitably end up trotting it out, disappointed after a couple of weeks.

Meh. I can still play the game despite the screwy bug. I got both my named and fake named default rosters I can play with. And I'm probably going to keep playing my dynasty either way. Don't mind starting over now that I stepped away from the issue for a bit.

In my opinion, EA has to get cracking on this issue FAST. I don't care what kind of possible bug there could be in the game, this has to be the worst issue there could possibly be. It completely ruins the entire game because it affects the realism of the game. I don't care if you play online against someone else or not, that person can only control one person, all the other players aren't going to play as they are supposed to. It's unfortunate such a small error can have such a huge affect on the game. I may be a little bit biased here but I'm a big simulation/dynasty guy so this hurts me a lot. I was wondering why I was getting so many sacks and why slow QB's would try to take off and scramble all the time. I guess there's really nothing we can do except for sit and wait.............

Those who think EA is working overtime on this issue must not have been around last year when the pump fake glitch was discovered. They took forever to get that patch out and there is still residual from the damage that BUG caused.
