load roster file (it shows up with the right name) but is not readable.

I am on windows 7 and also tried to reinstall the reditor from scratch- same issue. Any sorting of any field results in that Access violation
showing up.

Another question- when I open the reditor and open my custom made roster file that I made in the game, I see players like Snoop Dogg, etc. that are not in my roster file. What's happening there? Is it working from my roster file or some other roster??? It says "[N11] Roster.ROS" as the name of the file.
I don't know what [N11] is...

Perhaps Modio is messing up the rehash and resign, perhaps try Horizon.

[N11] shows up on all my rosters, I'm sure it's your roster. Snoop Dogg and the others are hidden players.

With the ability to edit team/floors and courts is it possible to replace an actual nba team's court with a CAT floor without having to export them.

Example: could you take the Kings and without exporting them swap it from being its 2011 floor to a Create a team floor sporting the team logo and its colors?

Or do we still have to go through the process of exporting them to get them palying on a CAT court

so how do you add extra created/exported teams, say if I needed 20 instead of 10? and the same eith created/downloaded players

One more thing. I edit a few players Port ID and CF ID and after a few I save. Then edit a few more and save again...OUT OF MEMORY pops up.

2 Things which lic's did you buy and the reason you get the out of memory is because you just hit the save button twice no big deal.

Not sure i am not handling that , that all vlad i know he is traveling this weekend . But i am also aware that paypal is not working right today.

Yes but not with this build the next update will have that. You would just change the floor id to 800 for a CAT or Exported team...

When I was looking at the demo version and then closing it I kept getting a zillion of these error pop-up windows that I could barely keep up with. I ended up just trashing it. I'm thinking this might be beyond my comprehension.

Is there anyway you could point me in the right direction for adding the hidden players and also deleting Yao Ming, Shaq etc... I have looked all through the guide and have figured out how to change faces etc. but can't figure out how to add players like Tibor Pleiss etc.. and how to delete unwanted players like Yao and Shaq.... any help would be greatly appreciated. I apologize for asking again, but I am really lost at what to do and have tried for the last 2 hours...

It's been about 5 hours for me and still no key.

On the REDitor website it said you'll receive the code in 72 Hours, but that it normally takes 6-24 hours. It also said that it mostly depends on the payment system, as some don't work on weekends.

Another thing is that it said that sometimes there is an error sending the email, so sometimes you have to send a manual one yourself saying you paid.

It's been less than 6 hours and it's also a weekend, so I can't expect it yet. Hopefully I get it by tomorrow morning.

Thanks but I am still having problems. My rosters don't load. I tried with portland Blazer's 1985 roster and it loaded finally. I tried to get the pics and faces in game right for players like Alex English, Xman, Chris Mullin, etc.

I was successful in getting most of the pics right, but NONE of the faces show up in game and some, like Maurice Lucas and Tom Chambers don't even have the right pics at all. Then the game CRASHES suddenly while scrolling thru rosters.

It looks like this is really buggy. Anyone else having problems like this?

vlad/hokup under the teams tab I noticed when editing arena ID you can actually effect/change the actually floor and court.

With that said what value should I put in the arena ID column to make the court into a CAT court. I had in mind making the Hornets have a CAT court so that their actual Hornet shows up center court.

... Also speaking of recreating the Charlotte Hornets: with audio have you guys figured out how to edit the pregame menu's announcing. By that I mean you know the dude that say's thursday hoops..... celtics... lakers... and they show the names of the starters right before it transitions to being in the arena and Harlan takes over. I'd like to have him call the team charlotte instead of new orleans. Hopefully it can be so that it doesn't affect Harlan calling them the bobcats instead of the hornets.

It might be the file its self the reason some face arent right might be because you can not turn on/off the caps . Thats way and if your trying to fill in fields that dont have anything you will get crashes. Its also bugging because ITS THE FREE ONE.....

Yes but you can not edit that in the current build the field or blank if , in the next update you will be able to everything that is blank, courts , unis colors , logo colors and etc...

Audio is stright as it is in the game so the team name aduio is the city and team name thats one file. Sorry but that how 2k rows.

yes in the players tab the 4th row name PLTYPE change it to 4 to make them active and 0 to make hidden player. Sorry i skiped you.

so you are saying that in order to use the reditor I need to work from a non-downloaded file (use the default 2k roster) without any caps?

If the free edito is buggy, and I buy the paid version, will I get money back if the paid version is just as buggy?

If anybody is willing to help me, I have read all of hokup's blogs, went through most of all his thread pages, but I still don't understand anything about Hexing or Reditor, I have 2K on PC so I heard about it, but I don't know what it does, I would like to put the Supersonics jerseys on my 05-06 roster, but I don't know how to. Can somebody please help?
