Three questions I would be much obliged if someone could answer:

#1 Is there a confirmed date yet as to when this patch will be released (i.e. will it be ready before the start of CFB season)?
#2 Will they be able to fix the player tendencies in such a way that it will fix the current named rosters we have or we could just download them again and the player tendencies would be fixed?

I have been reading through this thread trying to find these answers. Thanks for taking the time to respond!

I don't think this is likely. I think they simply have some variables reversed which cause the wrong tendency to be used.

You and aaron are probably right. I know with that pending lawsuit against EA by former NCAA players and the whole debate on player likenesses I thought that EA may be trying to curtail the appearance of certain similarities to the real players.

If they were trying to do that they'd not have the tendencies correct out of the box, thats nothing to do with this, this is a bug.

For number two I'd say it's possible they can fix the current rosters, especially if it's just a programming table that is backwards, which is what manyhave said it appears to be. If that is the case, fix the table and the problem is corrected when the rosters are reloaded and reference the correct table.

This blows big ones. Now I can't play my dynasty. What's the point of recruiting specific players, when it's a crapshoot what they'll actually play like. I suppose online games are still an option, but i can only play so many matches against cheesers before i want to go back to offline dynasty. And what about the people who have bad/no internet?

EA sucks, and people should be giving them a hard time. Video games in general are pissing me off right now. The last 2 games i've bought (Socom 4 and NCAA 12) have been broken out of the box. QA is out the window in this industry right now. It's pathetic.

I'll take the hint, guess it's time to move on.

I just remembered my third question. Assuming EA patches the game and we have to start over from scratch with the named rosters, who will do them? I have already heard the OS Community Rosters guys say they wouldn't be willing to do a "do-over." Are we doomed to choose between playing with named rosters with messed up player tendencies OR playing with unnamed rosters and correct player tendencies?

I'd just like to know what's going with EA Sports over this issue? I mean we're days into this & they don't seem to care a bit about coming out & letting us know something. It's being addressed doesn't cut it for me!

They should have somebody designated to respond to the consumers complaints. Instead, we get nothing & are left guessing! I mean we pay $60+ for these games. This is a big glitch with this game. Rosters are an important part of all sports games & especially this game.

Why can't we get some explanations or answers about what's the status on this possible fix? Can we keep current named rosters? Can it really be fixed? Do we have to start over from scratch?

I mean we get nothing! There's been enough time to check out the issue & for somebody at EA Sports dealing with this area to get back to the consumers. It's just flat out not right! It would stop a lot of speculation & questions if EA Sports would do something!

EA is laughing at us right now. Each of us has already paid $60+ for the game, they dont give a **** about a roster patch. Why would they? We're all, including myself, going to buy the game again next year so why would they do anything to help us out. Ive said it before and I'll say it again: 2K Sports need a football license ASAP!

Does anyone know if this would affect a sim dynasty? Meaning, Denard Robinson gets flipped to Balanced, will this only show up if I actually play against Michigan? If you sim all the games, does Denard still change how he plays?

EA is laughing at us right now. Each of us has already paid $60+ for the game, they dont give a **** about a roster patch. Why would they? We're all, including myself, going to buy the game again next year so why would they do anything to help us out. Ive said it before and I'll say it again: 2K Sports need a football license ASAP!

Obviously they're working on it. I think we've just been spoiled with the devs coming to this site with updates in the past. Just because they haven't been direct and specific in their timetable for correcting this issue, obviously they're going to fix it. I understand now why mods ban so quickly. All this stupid 2k talk is so annoying.

Robinson still rushes when you sim, he only sits in the pocket when you play Michigan. In week one of my dynasty he had 17 ATT for 84 yds and a td

So does anyone know if this supposed "patch" is going to fix the issues with the custom playbooks as well?
