15 minute quarters.......
I wanna know how many people out there actually play 15 minute quarters. If so, how long does it take and what does the score look like. Im a 5 minute quarter guy myself, i just think that is way to long to sit there and play one game when i can get probably 3 out of the way in that time period. Your thoughts???PS3, WAR DAMN EAGLE!!!Tags: None -

15 minute quarters would take FOREVER. I feel like the scores would be like 86-83University of Minnesota Golden Gopher Hockey

Re: 15 minute quarters.......
I did it once and it was 72-21 at half and that was with running down the clock on almost every play. I usually play 7 to 8 minutes and find it gives the perfect stats and takes about an hour to play. I couldn't imagine playing 15 minute quarters it would take waaaayyyyy to long.Comment

15 minutes quarter games are impossible until EA implements a smart accelerated clock.Comment

Re: 15 minute quarters.......
5 minute quarters are the best IMO. Thats really all ive played with though and i still beat the cupcakes pretty good. I cant imagine playing a cupcake in dynasty with 15 minute quarters.6+5=7

Re: 15 minute quarters.......
On NCAA 11 I would usually play 6 minute quarters. Its a good balance at 6-8 I think. The last time I played 15 minutes was NCAA 10 and I think i beat Alabama like 106-25 or something like that. It was on All-American.PS3, WAR DAMN EAGLE!!!Comment

10 minutes is perfect for me. I get right smack in the range of normal amount of plays and yardage for a college football game.Comment

Re: 15 minute quarters.......
No, they need to implement a much more intelligent AI. One that doesn't snap the ball at :28-:30 on the play clock every play. If the AI actually used the clock, tried to sustain drives instead of scoring in less than 2 minutes every time, then 15 minutes would be great.
I play 10 minute quarters and have played one entire season, plus a Conference Championship Game and a bowl game, plus two games in season two... and the closest the time of possession has been was 23-17 in my favor. Usually, it's 29-11 or 30-10.Dr Death

Re: 15 minute quarters.......
I snap the ball with about 15-20 on the play clock most times. Balanced timing. I get between 125-145 plays a game. I need to test 2 no huddle teams, but I'd imagine I'd fall under the ~160 cap that some Big 12 teams set. Now if you are going to cheese and play 4 verts a couple times a drive it's not going to help, but if you play a more realistic sim style of football (at least what is possible int his game), it'll come out well.Comment

Re: 15 minute quarters.......
8 minutes is my happy medium.
i even bumped my first OD game up to 9 minutes, and just that 1 minute change seemed like it took forever to me."Not the victory but the action. Not the goal but the game. In the deed the glory."Comment

Re: 15 minute quarters.......
I never even bothered to try and get TOP realistic. It's not like the computer is only running 40 plays to my 80, so as long as the rest of the stars align, I'll take it.No, they need to implement a much more intelligent AI.
