Re: What is the "roster glitch?"
I think from what I read that unless you start an offline dynasty with unnamed players there is a glitch. This glitch causes players you recruit to be the opposite so you have a scrambler qb end up pocket or a speed hb end up power. You are right there have been little specifics. I have heard some say that auto generated rosters are glitched and some say they arent...its anyones guess sadly. -
Re: What is the "roster glitch?"
I think it has something to do with a RB whose 6'2 243 lbs with 97 Speed is the problem because that's exactly what I see in my offline dynasty.Comment

No one cares who you can and can not win with. This more has to do with the lack of realism in every huge-*** back having top speed.Comment

Re: What is the "roster glitch?"
When any player is edited(in literally ANY way, ratings or equipment or name) in NCAA 12, their tendency will change. Scrambling QB's will change to balanced. Speed backs to balanced. Hard hitting DB's to Coverage DB's. Pass rushing/blocking linemen to run stopping/blocking linemen.
Tendencies show how CPU players think. It completely changes gameplay. When playing against Michigan QB #16 will run all day on you. When you play against him when he is named Denard Robinson on your roster, he will rarely ever run.
This glitch effects how the CPU plays against you. Georgia Tech won't run the option right because QB's won't be fit to run the system anymore.
Slow QB's begin scrambling all the time.
In a dynasty, if you recruit a player as a certain type, if you want a speed back, when he comes to school he will play like a balanced/power running back.
I'm tired of typing now... hope that helpsComment

Re: What is the "roster glitch?"
so your saying if you play a football game and Peyton Manning is running like Mike Vick and Mike Vick becomes Peyton Manning that's not a problem?

excellent explanation!
also, each tendency determines which ratings will progress per player. So, a speed back will progress in overall speed and acceleration, a power-back will advance in trucking and stiff arm.
Now, can you not see how this glitch breaks the game for those of us who spend hours upon hours playing offline and online dynasties, scouting players, building teams over time (multiple seasons)????Comment

Re: What is the "roster glitch?"
it only happens with prospects you recruit, no? I guess it'd be a problem if Terrell Pryor had brickfeet, but for computer generated players, who cares
Anyway, I still don't care about any of it. I'm very much enjoying my dynasties.Comment

Re: What is the "roster glitch?"
Nope, affects just about all edited (i.e. renamed) players.Comment
