I'm gonna get flamed to eternity for this, but if Duke's defense improves they could contend for a bowl spot, which is an immense improvement for them.

Houston, UCF, SMU, Tulsa, East Carolina, or Houston. They all will be able to break out. USC could make a comeback won't go bowling or anything but has the firepower to upset Stanford, Oregon, or Utah.

All the teams listed are loaded with firepower on offense. Any of those teams could break out. Only one will win the championship though.

Idk see how people are saying MSST winning the West. How do they get by Alabama and/or LSU? They might knock off Auburn in the second week of the year, but I dont believe they can beat Knile Davis & Arkansas.

I think they can which is why they are my breakout team for the year. Alabama and LSU will also contend for the West, but I think Mississippi State will also be right there.

The same MSU that has 2 touchdowns in the last 12 quarters against us? I just don't see their offense doing enough against our defense to get the win. It's possible, but I wouldn't put money against Alabama's defense versus MSU's offense.



I'll go Tennessee for breakout team. They're my pick to win the East.
