You have pretty low expectations. Why can't they fix EVERY SINGLE THING that's "wrong" with the game? Any explanation for that? Any explanation for why it's "wrong" in the first place?

And of course they're going to listen to the community. We're unpaid testers at this point. They get credit for that now?

That's pretty much what I have my settings at, and I really don't think it makes that huge of a difference. Yes the announcers are more in the background, but it doesn't make the overall volume of the crowd any louder.

Problem is that it's such a huge difference from NCAA 11, it's like night and day.

I like all the updates in the Blog. Looks like the listened to a lot of our concerns and the bugs that are in the game. And I'm glad EA has responded to us with a blog. I know many of us were wondering what was going on on their front, but I am glad EA stepped up and produce something that we could see and all the fixes they plan on implementing. Kudos to the EA guys for hearing us out.

            Re: patch update

Good thing they fixed the coach progression so that the coaching carousel and player progression isn't completely broken, making dynasties completely useless after 4-5 seasons...

            Oh wait.

I completely agree.......I hope they fix it. It's unbelievable how bad the audio is relative to crowd interaction.

                  Re: patch update

Just to chime in on this. I am excited about all the fixes however I had hoped to see 2 fixes that I didnt see listed. (minor for some)

                  1. Television Exposure as a coordinator not counting at all.
                  2. Coaching progression.

For my gameplay most of the fixes please me however I was hoping the above 2 would be addressed and maybe they will but just not mentioned. Keeping fingers crossed.

Hmm. Glad we got the details of the title update, but unless I missed it, I didn't read anything about them fixing the audio issues or fixing the player and coach progression in dynasty....both are pretty big game breakers.

Nailed it, I was really hoping to see this. Maybe it can be tuned, as it stands now, CC is utterly useless after 4+ seasons.

Basic fundamentals aren't really important... You are right, I am over-reacting

                          Re: patch update

While the fixes listed are good, it's really really aggravating that deep balls are most likely going to remain an almost guarantee play. This is just too big of an issue to miss. What happens when the game is on the line with 3 seconds left and you have to hurl a hail mary to try and tie or win the game? I guess you get to succeed 90% of the time, instead of the most likely 3% chance you have in real life. Kind of sad. I just don't understand how things like this can be seen by playing 3 games and are missed during testing. It just blows my mind. I mean this is such an obvious issue. It's not like the player tendencies where you have to actually dig deep into the game to see the issue. This is a gameplay issue that is so easy to see by just playing a couple games.

I will say that it sounds like the defense is going to react better to the QB user runs on called passing plays. I know when I use Denard Robinson (or for that matter any QB) I can get 10 yards running on a called passing play almost every time because the CPU defense just doesn't react at all to the QB running the football.

The worst of it all is that normally games only have 2 patches. I've heard that a 3rd patch costs a butt load of money so games very rarely put out a 3rd patch. I very highly doubt any of the other issues get fixed because of this.

Can you edit ratings on dynasty now too?

Man, I was looking forward to seeing

                                Audio
-Fixed the stadium sounds, crowd noise, and crowd reactions. It should no longer sound like you are watching 9 year olds playing flag football.

                                Darnit....

But seriously, did anyone watch the "New Features" videos in the NCAA 12 demo? Where Kirk boasts, "Small crowds will sound like small crowds. Big crowds will sound loud, just listen to this crowd," and it literally sounds amazing. Oh well, looks like they aren't going to do anything about that, let alone even acknowledge it.
