Advancing from the web???

So i thought i read from the patch notes that as of yesterday for free we'd be able to start advancing from the web. I cant for the life of me find an option for me to do that on my OD. Anyone have any info or know how to do it?

it was under the auto pilot option. but it seems to be gone for now. I suppose they found a issue with it or something. I don't think it was meant for the old dynasty site. It may not be back until the revamped one is released(just my guess).

advancing from the web doesn't have anything to do with the patch. It was an announced feature before the game came out, but wasn't expected to be ready until the revamped dynasty site went live, which it has not yet. They just stated in the blog about the patch that the ability to advance from the web will be free instead of the $2.99 cost or however much it was.

The button to advance was there yesterday, but it seemed to have been removed right now.

How had you paid for it already? There was no Advance Online option in the DLC.

i think it was one of the things included in the commissioner pack that they said would be accessible to you once its available

Yeah, it was supposed to be included with the commish dlc package thing. I'm not going to go nuts over $6 or $7, but you still can't help but feel a tad jipped when you've paid for it, then it's free because they dropped the ball on getting it out when they said they would.

From my initial impression of all the previews that were out before the game I think a couple of things were missing on launch day. The new website with all the extra options & info (which all look great if we ever get them) and the fact that they touted the sounds of college football so much are 2 that stand out, but we're still waiting on both (plenty of threads already about sound).

Like I said, it's not about the money so much as it is about the fact that this has been such a frustrating game release. I actually enjoy it quite a bit, it's just the overall package has some fairly annoying moments. Chalk up another vote for Bumble's article about no need to rush out and buy a sports game on release day. I may have start joining that boat ride.
