possible solution to 2k making another football game

we will have updated rosters with 2k share and if they add the ability to put a photos into the game people would be able to make 100% up to date nfl teams, with real players.

Video isn't worth watching, the gist is 'remake NFL2k5 and NCAA2k3, you had the rights to make them so you have the rights to remake them' and then mumbles some anti-EA pro-2k stuff for a couple minutes. Said that Bungie remade Halo, so 2k could remake NFL2k5...

Obviously he's not a lawyer, because he couldn't be more wrong.

Any successful 'not really an NFL game' that allows anyone to pose any threat to the value of the NFL's IP would get successfully sued into oblivion anyways, that's not an option you really should be hoping for.

I really can't see 2k ever making another football game.

"Well never see Michael Jordan in a video game."

Are people really this dumb? Since they had the license in 2004 they can remake them using those licenses? wtf is wrong with people?

Not to mention why remake ncaa2k3 that game, to VC's admission was a disaster.

Not arguing the other points but a remake I assume would be a retooling and a redesign of a previous idea. So it would not be the same disaster as you so stated. I would think that is want a remake is not a re-release.
