Re: Madden NFL 12 Ratings - Top 5 Running Backs
I guess it's kind of like the NBA and this sixth man business. Like how on the spurs, Manu Ginobli clearly should be starting but the Spurs feel the need to bring him off the bench.Eh, it was a weird deal. He didnt start games(they always put jones in the first series and charles the 2nd) but he would end up with more carries than jones the majority of games like a starter would of. I have no idea why they did that when charles was clearly the better backComment

Im glad to see Charles up there 95 is a little high maybe 1 92 would be more like it but hey im cool wit it..Comment

Don't think charles should be that high. Maybe foster in his spot but everything else is good.Comment

All these people wondering if Charles should be that high obviously didn't watch the NFL last year, they must've just watched their hometown teams or the popular ones. Sigh... and I believe Hillis is a 91 not just as a running back but as blocker and I've never hardly seen a back with such ability to play wide-out.Comment

Stats over last 2 seasons:
Arian Foster
381 car. - 1873 yds. 19 TD, 4.8 avg.
Jamaal Charles
420 car. - 2587 yds. 12 TD, 6.1 avg.
End of Debate.Comment

Re: Madden NFL 12 Ratings - Top 5 Running Backs
Hardly. Look at the TD totals.
Also It's convenient that you chose the last 2 years. In which the former Arian only played a couple games.Comment

Even if you look at this year's totals alone, Charles had only 149 less yards than Foster on 97 less carries. The TD totals are irrelevant because whenever the Chiefs got close to the end zone they would bring Thomas Jones in to finish off the drive. Foster had 10 TD's last year of three yards or less so there's where the difference in touchdown's comes.Comment

Charles is too high. He didn't even lead his team in carries last year.Even if you look at this year's totals alone, Charles had only 149 less yards than Foster on 97 less carries. The TD totals are irrelevant because whenever the Chiefs got close to the end zone they would bring Thomas Jones in to finish off the drive. Foster had 10 TD's last year of three yards or less so there's where the difference in touchdown's comes.
I think it should be
1. AP
2. Chris Johnson
3. Stephen Jackson
4. MJD
5. Jamaal Charles
Not ready to but Foster in my top 5 yet because he only had 1 great year.Originally posted by slickdtcI'd ride his bus, that's all I'm saying.
