Jesse what does this loss mean for Auburn who was considered to be able to give LSU, and Bama a run for the west title this season.
JP---- It means a lot I would think, you lose your home opener to a new up and coming in state rival. You have #6 LSU coming to town in a few weeks and you travel to #19 UNC where they seem to have figured it out. Auburn will need to dissect this film and see what went wrong. They had no answer for UAB's rushing attack and they need to figure out their offensive line issue. Jones is a great back but if all they have is him it could very well be a long season for Gene Chizic'x Auburn Tigers.
Thanks Jesse for your insight.

This week's National Players of the week go to Penn State's freshmen Alex Barnes. Barnes grabbed a school record 15 receptions and 241 yards with 4 touchdown catches in their 42-14 win over Navy, the top athlete coming out a year ago has started a very promising college career. Defensively the award goes to Maryland OLB Keith Pope, the senior recorded 14 tackles forced a fumble recovered a fumble and notched a sack in their upset win over West Virginia.
