In past games you only unlocked more promises by fulfilling those promises. In '11 I think I only had to fulfill about 5 promises to unlock my 1st new one. It should be safe to assume that the mechanic is the same in '12 so if you're 27/27 through 3 years and haven't unlocked any new ones, then it sounds like it's another bug in the game.

At the start of Season 4 i have unlocked the next 2 Good National exposure and Top 10 in first 2 years.

What do you have to do to fulfill the promise "will get good national exposure"? Does that mean that the team will get good national exposure? Or that the player if he comes will get PT and make a name for himself to gain national exposure? Just trying to figure it out, since I promised a recruit that.

I'd love for there to be a more specific promise tracker. Things are so vague and often don't make sense. Like the "playing time" promise. How much playing time is enough? It should be some percentage of plays you can actually track from game to game. Jones : 19% of plays, promised 25%. Same for all promises. We're left in the dark as to what really constitutes fulfilling a promise, and many times a promise seems reasonably fulfilled but it's not. "National exposure". Okay... so show us "Jones : Played in 3 national or regional games, Promised 5" etc.

I have a somewhat related question about promises. I posted this in a different thread, and only received one opinion about it, so I thought I would try a second time to see if I could get a bit more information, or at least some feedback from someone who may have experienced.

Backstory--playing a 2-person online dynasty. I'm a fan of an SEC team, other guy (the commissioner) likes an ACC team. So we take my SEC team (Ole Miss) and add it to the ACC, and move Miami to the SEC. To maintain a sense of flow, we just assumed that in-conference rivalries would shift, such that Miami's ACC rivalries would become mine, and Ole Miss's SEC rivalries would become Miami's.

Obviously it doesn't work that way. Now, midway through the second season, I realized I had an 0 - 0 record against rivals.

I had promised several recruits a winning record against rivals. Instead I have no record against rivals?

How will this affect my prestige, or my kept/broken promises rating?

For what it's worth, I'm going to schedule Miss. St., LSU, or Arkansas in future seasons, but that also sucks for me. Commish gets to rack up a few wins against easy out-of-conference cupcakes, while I have to use my out of conference games against some pretty stout teams.
