I have more than got my money's worth with this game already, as I'm on holiday and put in my hours - but I'm really looking forward to this patch. I'm pretty frustrated. What is really infuriating me right now is that they keep breaking things they've fixed (passing was great last year, progression was much improved), and then they port in last year's game into this year's version and forget the stuff they've fixed with patches and tuners (e.g. uniform degradation for the team in white, DE's making moves to get pressure, I remember my players jumping in last year's game).

And then there are the glitches that have been there since the game moved to next gen and have just been completely ignored. And it sounds silly to even say it, but the arm build slider being broken STILL after five or so years is really, really getting to me. I can't stand looking at some of the players on my team. You cannot make a beefy HB, SS's ALWAYS have stick arms and there's nothing you can do about it (but I have complete control of his butt size and how thick his feet are), half of my LBers have stick arms, my TE's, my 5* QB is in danger of getting cut b/c he looks so silly and there's nothing I can do about it. I can get to a workaround for gameplay by changing my settings multiple times a game, but there's nothing I can do about the appearance of some of the players. I'm really hoping the patch giving us the ability to edit size gives me a workaround b/c there does seem to be some random 'sweet spots' where you can get a decent look.

I know it is crazy. But the thin arms are what made me turn it off last night and are the reason I'm not playing right now. My #2 recruited class in year 4 of my dynasty looks ridiculous. I went into practice last night and ugh. I cannot play a season looking at these guys.

Come on EA. Please. I'll always buy the game. I've always bought the game. Fix this for me. Pretty please.

3 yrs and counting with the skinny arm glitch and I know what you mean because it is a pet peeve of mine as well.. I have noted it in bugs and glitches thread going on a 3 yr stretch now lets hope t gets quietly handled..I truly think it's a trchnical issue..that has to be recoded..

I've seen them announce like this with a list of fixes they have already done but are still doing more then they end up releasing a bigger list of fixes once its actually submitted. If they said the end of the month and with the 2 week approval process they keep telling us about then its probably getting submitted this week.

I think all of the freezes have occurred in my (offline) dynasty, multiple times during gameplay and once in the menu.

Are any of you guys playing dynasty mode?

This is a huge peeve of mine as well, but the bigger issue attached to this is the fact that Positions are still tied to certain body types, or vice versa however you want put it, you all know what I mean. Frames are different for each position.

They just need to have it like they did in the last gen. Body sizes were tied to two things back then. Weight and what you set their body-sliders to. Just another thing they did right 6 years ago (and before) and haven't gotten right since.

Yes. I hate that build is tied to position. This version I've been playing with the switch position option to get better builds. I don't go crazy if the cpu guys have skinny arms, but if I have to look at glitchy player models for 40 games with a new recruit I have to do something. It is so frustrating - there are chunky RB's, fat QB's... if the build sliders worked we could make them.

I'm glad some others feel like this needs to be fixed. Hopefully it gets on the 'to do' list one day. I can't believe they put wrinkles on elbows and leg hair on before they fixed the arm build slider.

Offline dynasty mode, named rosters no freezes. Installed game to hd.

All I can play.is default rosters which would be fine but I can't play past the 1st season anyway so I might as well just wait till the patch drops so I can play a named dynasty. Imo playing with the tendancys messed up is horrible. Love the default rosters though. All I'm doing now is exhibition trophy games til the patch. I didn't I would have gotten a few seasons in bf madden comes out.

I think most freezes, at least for me, have been online dynasty and random ranked games online.

quick question, in a bit of a hurry and I don't have time to read some of the past posts so I apologize in advance.
My only question is will this patch be able to get me past week 3 of the offseason recruiting stage? I'm stuck.
It keeps saying Transfer Failed after I try to advance.

Crazy, same as me. I have first patch installed, named roster, and game installed to HD. Maybe I just got a bad copy.

What console are you guys playing on? If Xbox 360, do you have an original or a slim model? I have a 250GB slim.

360 original model 120GB.. I have first patch as well, I should have mentioned that.

not sure what other variable I could list.

Thanks. That's all I can think of. I wonder if the other guys who haven't had freezing issues have original models, too.

Anyone have a slim Xbox 360 and no freezing issues?
