Positives -
-Running game is pretty damn good because of the blocking by the OL and everyone else on offense. I just had over 200 yards with Grant but im playing on Pro so that might have something to do with it.
-Passing game is good and you get plenty of time in the pocket but on deep passes, am I the only one who cant see the damn ball?
-Tackling is much improved.
-Presentation is okay but still nowhere near 2K5.
-Overall, the game plays smooth. Im enjoying a lot more than I did last year's version.
Negatives -
-The kicking meter. Its okay if you have a good or better kicker but im going to assume that if you have a crappy kicker, that meter will go zooming fast and having to press it twice for strength and accuracy is annoying and why the play clock stops when you press the button the first time is beyond me.
-The camera for kickoffs and field goals. I really hope you can turn that damn view off and just stick with the classic camera.
-Sacks seem too easy to get but then again, I was playing on Pro.
-Presentation is still just average at best. No halftime or post game show and if your player of the game is your RB, it shows his long on his stat line instead of the preferred average. Openings are cool though. Overall, I think it will be the same as Madden NFL 10 and with the ESPN license, why EA just doesnt copy 2K5 as a starting point is beyond me???
-Not sure but I think that there's no speed burst button anymore or shoulder charge unless of course, im missing them.
-Faces and player models are 50/50. Some look good and some look bad. Coaches look real bad to me. Lovie Smith looks like a skinny old man. UGH.
Overall, im still buying the game and will continue playing the demo but im hoping a patch can and will fix some of my negatives.
