Yet again, no pass interference calls this year!

So after playing a few games with the demo I noticed that there are virtually zero pass interference calls. I have it cranked all the way up to 100 like I do every year and still nothing. When is this going to make it back into the game, we've been asking for it for several years now but yet nothing!

I wish they would put that in as something that gets called if there is contact is made too early by the user when trying to make a user pick. I think it would really help put a stop to rocket INTs. Has always felt a little too arcady on that front.

I have gotten bumped numerous times by the CPU, I have a feeling EA might have a problem with users initiating contact in order to get a call against the CPU...?... Maybe?

well you're one of the very few that have seen it called. I am just going to say that if you have penalties all the way up to 100 then it should be called many times. The penalty sliders barely do anything and it has been this way forever!

I agree with the OP. It is a problen in NCAA as well.

It's not just interference...what about when your guy gets jammed 8-10 yards downfield? That's supposed to be illegal contact, 5 yards, and a first down.

I know that this is a big issue guys and I am going to say the number one obvious thing but here it is......

It's just a demo man. Let's see how the full game will play before we start worrying about it.

I know it's just the demo but I can't even count on one hand how many years this has not been implemented into the game and from the demo it doesn't look good....again.

Usually i would agree but this is one of the few things i can say i am certain will not change with the retail version.

It's been just a demo for about 5+ years now.

They haven't got PI right back then, and it won't be any difference this year

I hate when people make this statement. The programming cycle for this game is done. Pretty much the demo is what you get when you turn on a PLAY NOW game. Its been like that. Outside of some presentation things nothing gameplay wise has ever changed in between the demo and the real thing. If there is an issue they may or may not fix it in a patch...overall the demo was good and was far better than any Madden ever. I wont give them great praise though. This SHOULD have been done this good in Madden 08 or 09...Madden 12 should be light years ahead of what it actually is...
