Players you've recruited that you will NEVER forget
Whether they be good, bad, or just plain horrible!!
During my Tulane dynasty, I recruited a 6'6, 198lb WR. Guy ran a 4.19 40yrd dash but had hands of stone. He could burn most DB's but dropped everything that came near him. Once had 8 drops in one game and I never played him again.
I posted this story earlier. This guy I didn't recruit, but I tried really hard during my North Texas dynasty. 6'5, 223 lbs, balanced QB, 4-star prospect. The final week of recruiting, it was down to me and Baylor. He signs to Baylor and I wasn't that upset at first, until I saw that Baylor signed 7 Qb's. 3-5 stars and 4-4 stars. He was at the very bottom of the Depth Chart and redshirted freshman year. He decided to transfer to North Texas(my school) but I denied it. Kinda regret it, but he deserved it.
During my Kent State dynasty, I needed a QB to fill a void. I recruited a 6'6, 240lb ATH not knowing where he would fit in. Once position changes came up, I switched him to QB and ended up being a 76 OVR. First game of the season was against Ohio State. They kick off, my return man fumbles and fall on it at the 3 yard line. I decide to pass on my first play and ended up getting sacked in the end zone for a safety. My QB didn't get up. After a few minutes, I realize that he's out of the season with a knee injury. I ended up giving him a medical redshirt. That year, I go 5-7 and fail to make a bowl game. I do the whole offseason thing and next year, he's my starting QB. I schedule a FCS team as my first game, so I could get him an easy game to win. First play from scrimmage I get sacked again, fumble, and they return it for a TD. He doesn't get up. He's out for the season again with a knee injury. After the season he transfers to Western Michigan and never plays again. He was supposed to be an All-American and get drafted in Madden in all that.
Final collegiate stats- 0-2, 0 yds, 2 sacks
